Why would you use the app when the mobile version of the site is perfect? It would stop the clusterfuck of people posting the same tweet twice in a row just because the app for some reason can't do simple things like post a Twitter link.

Honestly, this site has become borderline unreadable sometimes due to people posting a Twitter link, and then copy and pasting the text. Who is this catering to? Like 2% of the board traffic?

The Tapatalk app shows the tweets now. It's a lot easier to read than the browser. If I can't see something I just open the browser to look.

It’s a lot easier to read and uses less data

So why do people keep posting the Twitter link and then copy and pasting the content?

Maybe for the SoSH standalone app? Tapatalk used to not show tweets but now I see them. I also prefer the timeline feature in the app vs the 'new post' button.

Oh, I didn't realize there were multiples. Still, how much traffic is that even catering to? Just adds unneeded data to the site as well (though not how big of a sink that is).

Why do you use any app? If you go to buy something on Amazon, do you open safari or their app? ESPN? Facebook?

I find using the site on my phone browser to be annoying as shit. There’s no timeline, the script is tiny and fat fingers make it harder to navigate. I’ve come to grips with the fact people sometimes don’t copy and paste the content of a tweet and if I want to see it, I’ll venture in to find it. It’d be great if people did it or the app could handle it, because it’s definitely annoying, but I don’t complain anymore. The only things I find the app lacking are tweets and notifications, specifically when someone quotes your post.

Your borderline unreadable by people quoting content is marginal compared to those that have ‘unsupported media’ pop up half the time. It’s far more than 2% that use it or we wouldn’t have it.

The “participates” category in the apps is fantastic. I use Tapatalk over the homegrown app because I browse more than one forum.

Try clearing your cache.
I’ve done that still get the sso error 2 message.

Any help
@SumnerH

I’m not sure if it’s a Plug-in (on sosh) or some bug with the actual Tapatalk app itself because I’m having the same issue on my iPad as well.

(This is not the sosh app)

Try deleting Sons of Sam Horn on Tapatalk and searching for SoSH.

That’s what I figured.

Is the Tapatalk issue occurring today an app related bug that we should report to them? Or something broken on the backend on sosh?
It’s almost always Tapatalk and good luck having them respond to a ticket. I’d love for them to have some real competition. I’ve sent them over 49 tickets to upgrade this F’ing app

When you’re searching for SoSH in tapatalk, there are two options. One with the tile url and one that looks more barebones. The tile one does not work but the other does.

I'm getting a different sign-in error now on tapatalk (android). I am using the SoSH entry and not the older one. Every time I try to sign in I get an "Invalid forum key" message.

Sources online suggested clearing tapatalk's cache/data, which I've done, and I've unfollowed/followed the forum. All result in the same thing. Is anyone else seeing this?

edit: manually signed in by re-typing my creds vs using tapatalk's "Log in with" and it worked

Oops, missed the picture at the top.

BTW, I do see that image momentarily when I click on The Latest link with my desktop/Chrome/Win 8.1.
