Is the Yankees 99-37 record vs the Twins since 2002 the most lopsided record in baseball?

The last time the twins won a season series vs the Yankees was 2000 and 2001.

This is the twins record vs the Yankees since 2002:
25333

I can’t remember seeing a team so thoroughly pummel another team for close to 17 years.

Like the Globetrotters vs Washington Generals, A NY dominating a (formerly) Washington team.

NY missed Berrios in both series this season, that helped. Also Buxton is still out and he might be their MVP, 52-23 when he plays this year and now 9-17 when he doesn't. He has been a solid hitter and is a great baserunner but also he chases down so many rockets that his replacements can't. Their lineup is terrifying now, though, the best it has been at any point in the run under discussion.

"From @StatsBySTATS: The Yankees have won 13 straight season series against the Twins (2007-19), tied for the longest streak in any matchup since divisional play began in 1969 (Dodgers over Pirates, 2001-13). The record is *37* straight for the Yankees over the A's from 1932-68!"

Updated number including the playoffs:

"Twins are 37-99 (.272) vs. the Yankees since 2002, including the playoffs, which is equivalent to a 44-118 record in a 162-game season."

Hope the Yankees win the last game or 2 vs. the Twins this year. All 4 of the Red Sox WS wins this century have come when Twins win exactly 2 regular season games v. the Yankees.

Edit: Yay, 2-4 now!

Your wish is granted, season series is now done at 4-2 NY, postseason meetings aren't in that first post.

Yeah but for the second half of that run the A's were literally in the tank to help the Yankees.

I bet Gardenhire still wakes up in a cold sweat whenever he dreams about the Twins in the playoffs.

Ironically, if they hadn't been so insistent on small ball (including yelling at Ortiz for hitting a double or something in a game where Gardenhire wanted him to bunt), they might have done better.
