Integrating Google Analytics and VWO into a Rails (4) website

I'm using a pre-existing Rails site (https://github.com/Techofficer/prelauncher) that I've made some alterations to for a market test of a new product, but I cannot for the life of me get Google Analytics or VWO integrated into this thing. I've never used a site that didn't have some kind of HTML header that I could just copy and paste the tag code into, and I cannot figure out how this is supposed to work with this with Rails. I've seen a few different possible solutions on stackoverflow, but no consensus on what is the best (or easiest) way to do this for someone who is not exactly proficient with Rails.

Suggestions?

It does have a header. It's in `app/views` somewhere. Probably this: https://github.com/Techofficer/prelauncher/blob/master/app/views/layouts/_meta.html.haml

HAML stinks and sucks, so I can't tell you how to actually integrate it, but you can probably figure it out from a HAML tutorial.
