My inability to commit to a more obscure lifelong Dodger cost me a single-digit score today. Willard Hershberger (I assume I don't need to spoiler that) was another really talented player with a tragically short career whose SABR bio should be read if you're unfamiliar with his story.

Could've been even lower. Had 8 out of 8 and came to the 'only one team' for the Dodgers. Thought of using Del Bissonette but wasn't totally confident in that choice so I went with a safe answer.
Very happy with my Pete Hamm choice; only reason I knew of him was I saw him play against the Red Sox in '70 or '71 and he was sending notes to some woman out near the bleachers in right.
Reggie Smith hit a homer in that game and my Uncle caught the ball!

Had an interesting thing with my grid today-- a 61.7% difference in the rarity scores between 2 players on my grid.

Gerrit Cole for the Pirate with 200 Ks (62%), and Walt "No-Neck" Williams who played for NYY and the White Sox (0.3%).

What's the biggest difference in rarity scores you've had between 2 players in the same Immaculate Grid?

In yesterday's grid, I had a rarity difference of 24.6% between players in the same column-- Gold Glove winners. That seems like a pretty big difference for players in the same category. I'm sure peole have had bigger ones though.

This one was less challenging (no Rays or DBacks) but a lot of fun for a 70's child like me. Not my best but still happy with an RS of 10. The guy in the center hit the only foul ball I've caught at an MLB game. Was worried that I wouldn't be able to come up with a better career Cub than Ernie Banks

I had to test it today and although b-ref does display National Association statistics the same as major league stats, Immaculate Grid does side with MLB in not recognizing the NA as a major league. In other words, Cap Anson is a lifetime Cub despite his main b-ref page showing his years with Rockford and Philadelphia in the NA. However, even though MLB now recognizes the negro leagues as majors, I'm pretty sure I've gotten correct answers in the Immaculate Grid's "one team" category by using former negro leaguers who only played with one team after leaving the negro leagues… I'm certain I used Jim Gilliam for the Dodgers recently, though it's possible that was the Crossover Grid and maybe they could have different standards.

In my nearest miss ever, I went 8/9 with a 103 RS. There were several fairly obscure .300 hitters for Cleveland I'm sure I could have gotten at less than 1%, but I got too cute and guessed the immortal Braggo Roth who's highest average in Cleveland was .299.

2 guys who are not at all unknown, especially for Sox fans. Was there some kind of a weird glitch with them this time? They both appeared as correct answers but with 0 for rarity scores. And I wasn't even trying for a low score, I never get a really low one and already spend way too much time on it when I try to go for rarity.
