I expected picking Frank Robinson would keep me from getting a real low score. Was a little too quick with Mo Vaughn, thought about Jackie Jensen after I made my choice.

25, My highest was 11%. Apparently more people watched Moneyball than I thought.

Also referenced the trade.

Was on my way to a great score, always helps when the Red Sox are included. Had 8 out of 8 and got to a Phillies HOF and to my surprise Lefty O'Doul is not a Hall of Famer!
Knew he was a great hitter but his career was too short. Should've gone with Chuck Klein.

I’m bamboozled that my answer of Shawn Wooten for the Red Sox-Angels category got as high as .03%. I thought for sure it would be in the .00something range. Maybe it’ll change throughout the day as more people play, but come on! One at bat with the Red Sox!

I went with him. It was either him or Grover Cleveland Alexander

One new category yesterday: 200+ Wins (Career) for grid #200
Two new categories today: <= 3.00 ERA in a season (non-qualifying), Only One Team

Very happy with a refresh of categories

Happy with the new categories! Was very conservative and ended up with 2 answers with >40% each, but still had a rarity of 125. Great to see the love for Only One Team players

Not my all time best, but one of my better ones with an 11 RS. But posting because I wanted to use all three Alou brothers (and should have) but I chickened out because I wasn't 100% certain that Felipe had over 2000 hits. Also should have used Vada Pinson bottom right. Oh well.

This felt like the easiest one ever. Not my personal best score, but a really good one that I didn't have to think about at all. It's funny that they keep introducing categories from the Crossover Grid.

I noticed today that "Born outside USA" apparently considers Puerto Rico outside of the US. The most common answers for the Cardinals and Pirates respectively were Yadier Molina and Roberto Clemente

I figured out early on with the Crossover Grid that most people aren't thinking Canada when they answer those, so you'll get a low % answer. I figured Larry Walker was still too well known for that today, but opened another browser when I was done and found he was only at 2%.

Yeah I went with Jason Bay using the same logic and he was only at 2% as well. My inability to think of a better choice than Sid Bream ruined my RS today

And kudos on Austin McHenry. I've read a decent amount of baseball history, and can't recall ever reading about him. Quite a tragic story.

8/9 - because I wasn't paying close enough attention and thought it was 200 strikeouts. (I put Dylan Cease in the empty slot)
-I'm surprised Edmonds number wasn't lower. I figured most wouldn't remember he played for the Cubs.
-After completing the grid I looked up Kyle Farnsworth, and learned he is currently a Professional Body Builder. Look at the picture in this article. (or just look up his name on google images)

Probably could have made it all alleged steroid players - that era is great for counting stats, and today's grid features 2 new ones (30 homers in a year with that team, and 300+ homers in a career...and that player only had to play at least one game with that team) :). Anyhow, glad I found a 300+ homer person who played for the Red Sox with only 1% - Jose Canseco . Rarity 74

This was a fun one today. I was stretching to try to come up with an American black player for the CLE/SD box, but whiffed.

I totally forgot about Dave Winfield's season with Cleveland.

Any time I can use Carl Yastrzemski is a fun day for me. He was in the same spot in both todays Immaculate AND today's Crossover grids.

An easy 11 RS today. Frankly, I expected single digits since there was only room for marginally better answers.

I did not recall he played a season for the Padres. He had a .681 OPS but still came in 17th in MVP voting. RBI were king back then.
He was part of the huge Pads/Jays trade in the early 90s that set Toronto up for a few years. For a borderline star, he traveled a lot.

Gonna guess one or more of the mavens here will get a sub 5 rarity score today given that I was able to get a 15 without too much difficulty. There's just too many good answers available for most of these squares.

My second 5 of the week. With a little more work, I could have done an "all white guys with long faces" grid.

New category today, "First Round Draft Pick". Looks like you have to also have played MLB , as Kyler Murray is not an option. However, it does not have to a but a first round pick of that team (i.e., Adrian Gonzalez would work with the Red Sox).

I started from the bottom on the 1st rd pick column and didn't read the instructions that they simply had to play for that team until after I'd already hurt my score with the first one. My favorite part of this one was that 6 of my 9 picks appear in a uniform other than the one(s) I used them for.

Had a chance to use a guy whose name is only thrown around in this joint as my Giant-Padre. He was at .02%, which is more popular than I expected.
