If you own a TP-Link router or extender, note this:

TP-Link makes some decent inexpensive routers, extenders, etc., including their recent Archer models that have pretty good reviews for the price.

TP-Link 'lost control" (probably just failed to renew and someone else grabbed) one of their primary domains. This means the info on much of their hardware labels and manuals now suggests you update firmware etc. by going to a site that is now owned by lord-only-knows who. No proof yet that the new owners are malicious, but....tplinklogin.net is now under the control of someone anonymous. There is also a domain named tplinkextender.net that is also NOT owned by TP-Link.

If you own any of their stuff, you want to avoid using either of the sites mentioned.
