My iPhone 5 died, and I had to get a new iPhone 5s. I successfully restored my data, pictures, apps etc. from iCloud to the 5s. However, the 5s will not back up to iCloud because I don't have enough storage space, and it's asking me to buy additional storage.
When I go to General -> iCloud -> Manage Storage, I see my current iPhone and what I assume is my former iPhone (along with two iPads). If I delete the backup from what I think is my previous iPhone, that would free up storage to update my new iPhone.
Am I safe in deleting that backup? This seems mostly straightforward, but before I nuked the backup, I thought it best to ask...thanks.
