I Need Sea Dogs Advice

Ok, I'll give it a try on this forum.  I need help from some of my old SOSH buddies.  I kind of lost interest ( I was so snarky that I was even justifiably banned for awhile!)
And lately I find the team so unwatchable----a combination of their being so bad while at the same time so unlikeable, at least to me,  But I recently permanently moved to Portland----and yesterday just for the hell of it I drove over to a Sea Dogs game and really enjoyed the whole experience.  But here's the problem:  I know nothing about the minor leagues.  I just wait until they get up to the Sox and then pay attention.   so if I want to change that and start going to Sea Dog games ( It's 10 bucks and about an 8 minute ride from where I live!) who should I be watching.  Any real prospects in Portland?  Anyone to really keep an eye on? When I got there yesterday I saw that the team has a horrible record.
I know I could look it all up, but if you had any idea of my computer skills, you would never suggest that. So help me out, if possible, as I am starting to get a really bad feeling about not only the Sox but also about the Yankees being better than i thought was possible.  Might as well try to enjoy another level of baseball, or else help my brother root on his beloved Pittsburgh Pirates, who have come close to rivaling our boys" post all-star performance.

I used to live a few minutes from the Brooklyn Cyclones and I'd research the top prospects throughout MLB and see if any of them were either on the Cyclones or coming through with visiting teams. I literally googled "top MLB prospects". I also would check to see if any recent draft picks had been assigned to the Cyclones roster.

The trouble was following prospects after they were promoted/demoted/traded. I didn't/don't have the kind of dedication to follow a lot of guys beyond their Cyclones days.

I love minor league ball, though. It's way easier to move around a stadium and get different angles. Food and drinks are cheaper, too. You're lucky to have a team with a schedule that runs April to September. Lots of opportunities to watch cheap baseball.

^ That's it for prospects on the Sea Dogs right now.
Trey Ball and Mauricio Dubon are in Salem but could possibly be up by the end of the year.  Doubtful though since neither are dominating yet.
The 2016 team in June, after the draft and promotions, will be a juggernaut, but it's going to be vanilla for a while pending the trade deadline of course.

Welcome to Portland!

The Sea Dogs have been struggling pretty badly this year. Like Skiponzo said, Margo & Travis are the only real prospects on the roster. But keep an eye out for MLB players on rehab assignment. We've had Vic, Hannigan, and Swihart this year. Usually you get one or two big names each season.

Margot and Travis are the guys to watch right now, but I haven't given up hope on Carlos Asauje and Jantzen Witte. Williams Jerez is really interesting too, a positional player who switched to pitching. He's a lefty who can hit 95 and has had some success.

Great ballpark, cheap seats, good restaurants all over the place. Enjoy Portland in the summer.

Thanks so far.
And Smiling Joe, I'll go any time. I'm literally looking at the lights out my window as we speak. This is a great place to live!
