Whoops! Looks like we all got caught snoozing watching the Boston Belly Rings beat the LA Sparx.

Barca sans Messi is struggling to create much offense against a mostly parked Inter. Doesn't matter much though, as Spurs have shat themselves and drawn against PSV.

As I type, Suarez sends a perfect cross to Rafinha who calmly slots home. The two most maligned players on the pitch tell me and most cules to STFU.

Salaaaaaaaah, 2-0 going into the half.

Shaqiri has looked great in midfield. Robertson is more advanced than I've ever seen him play before. Fabinho has looked outstanding against admittedly inferior competition.

Repurposing for European matches this week...

Great pickup by Shaqiri in midfield to drive forward and find Robertson making a run to the touch line, cuts it back to Firmino, 1-0
And Salah adds a second!

The Reds need to run up the score here, no offense to Red Star. The way this group is going to far, goal differential could be make or break,

Napoli up 1-0 and have played great again. PSG has had one really good chance when Mbappe got stoned 1x1. Napoli has had a coup[le of good chances and a goal. Is Napoli going to get out of group stage????

Especially with the developments in Paris thus far... if that holds, Liverpool need Ws in all subsequent games, with potentially a draw in Paris as leeway, to proceed

Soft penalties are definitely one way to pad the GD.

Glad to see Salah take & make it. Seems like his confidence is starting to flow again and the goals are following. Not that he was even playing badly, but hot Salah puts this team a class above.

Inter now attacking and the match has opened up. Inter is very physical. Rafinha and Suarez have continued their suckitude.

Another outstanding crunching challenge from Fabinho. Given the midfield injury crisis that'll be immensely valuable through the new year

The reaction shots of Messi and his kids are outstanding. Also, every time I write something derogatory about a Barca player, he does something good...Coutinho can't hit curlers o_O

LOL. Suarez just took a FK that intentionally went under the wall and an Inter player stacked his pads and hit it wide (barely).

First tiebreaker is head to head so racking up GD against the bottom team might not be all that valuable (but still nice).

for Liverpool beating Napoli in Anfield and tying PSG in Paris should good enough (Assumign they beat Red away). Napoli tying RB might be their undoing

It’s easy to imagine Pool winning 1-0 over Napoli at home and losing 2-1 in Paris. Gorging on the group’s minnow is necessary insurance.

In which case PSG would hold the tiebreaker over Liverpool on away goals.
