LET'S DO THIS THING PEOPLE.

My 12-YO son was up all night at an event run by a neighbor's church for middle schoolers.  I just got him to go to sleep, so he'll be out until mid-afternoon.  Football and football are all I'm doing today.

I did like his card to Coutinho. That's the kind of bullshit that rarely gets called.
I'd be ok with it if he called it on his own. The fact that he let Poyet convince him to give it 45 seconds later is pretty lame.

Rodgers is managing like a guy who has a portrait of himself above his fireplace.

Swaps Lovren for Gerrard at halftime to....give Henderson some time with the armband? Up only 1-0 on the road? Plays a...3-2-3-1-1?

He's not a genius, but I'm pretty sure he thinks he is.

That seems to be the prerequisite for being Liverpool captain.

Liverpool can go above West Ham on GD if they lose by 6 to Swansea, but then Swansea would be above Liverpool on GD. Seventh or eighth it is again, then.

Paul Konchesky scored for Leicester. That was a surprise on the level of seeing Ian Harte playing for Reading a couple years ago.
Ian Harte is currently playing for Championship leading Bournemouth, so he could be back in the premier league next season.

Big wins for Burnley and Leicester at the bottom of the table.  Burnley are now out of the relegation zone.

Appalling refereeing at Palace...Spurs given a penalty they didn't deserve, then denied one they did. Infuriating.

California. Duh.
Pardew always seems to start well with his new teams.  The problem comes when he's given new long-term deals and the teams come back to earth.

He's always had promise.  Moyes had no clue what to do with him last year and Van Gaal sent him on loan.  I just hope he comes back and is given a chance.

Yeah, he should be the English Bielsa. One and done.
