Man. Imagine if we'd gotten Bell (as IIRC was rumored) from Pittsburgh for Lackey instead of the STL package.

Roberts was right, Castillo does have that leg swing at the end that looks like Pedro's did. All other comparisons should lead to a flogging though.

It’s got to be pretty rare that an infielder in the ASG is replaced by his teammate, like LeMahieu/Gleyber at 2B.

Will Smith’s trade value takes a little hit, Gallo is a beast.

Just have to say it was fun when the ASG winner got home field advantage for the pennant winner of that league in the WS. Might have been goofy but it was fun, and it helped the Sox.

Knowing little about Blackmon except that he's the 6th player at least 33 years old to hit a HR in an All Star game, I can say with confidence that he's exactly 33 years old.
