What's the record for most walks by an umpire in one game?

In support of Boston's recent Pride Day, and in order to inject spiritual positivity into this thread, and in hopes that the good Lord will help the Sox improve on their godawful recent play, I offer this pic of Pride Jesus that I took an hour ago in Guanajuato, Mexico. IMG_20190611_181347~2.jpg

Pitchers that can’t throw strikes are like carpenters that aren’t very good working with wood.

Or like plumbers that can’t plumber.

Or like donut makers who don’t know how to make donuts.

nothing worse than mediocre baseball...win a few ...lose a few...look good for a couple of games.....look absolutely awful for a few more....81-81 baseball is hell...Zzzzzz

I get the feeling this team thought they could just show up and they'd make the playoffs. JD was making comments when it seemed like there were a few superteams again, that you already know who's going to make the playoffs with these rosters. they should know better that's not how it ever works, but I guess human nature took over.

disappointed Cora let this attitude seep through, but he'll learn for next year.
