Word on EEI and the Net is that there is some very...interesting news about to break about HanRam....
This tease makes it seem like something more than "he's signing with Oakland".Word on EEI and the Net is that there is some very...interesting news about to break about HanRam....
Yeah. Like PEDs or something off field. It's probably something lame, it's WEEI.This tease makes it seem like something more than "he's signing with Oakland".

#HanleyRamirez, former @RedSox infielder, has some.. well, issues. Being eyed in connection with an ongoing federal and state investigation. Stay tuned.
she has 16 K followers, who knows if she is legit....
According to this, McPhee was also the first to report on the Aaron Hernandez case.McPhee is a blowhard, but a serious reporter. Used to work at the Herald. has the sources in the police and city hall
Afternoon hosts on a rock station down the hall from EEI. Makes no sense that they get this "exclusive" rather than Dale and Keefe unless, you know, there's not a lot of veracity to it.What is a Matty and Nick?

Investigative journalist @MicheleMcPhee is on with us NOW talking #HanleyRamirez and the #RedSox breaking news
OR for arguments sake, she is a buddy of one of those two jocks, or someone at the station...Afternoon hosts on a rock station down the hall from EEI. Makes no sense that they get this "exclusive" rather than Dale and Keefe unless, you know, there's not a lot of veracity to it.
Well, they would probably say that regardless, as 'there's a rumor of an investigation' is probably not a valid reason in the CBA to blackball someone
Going to jail doesn't void a deal, right? So he could set fire to a group of nuns and still get paid? There’s zero chance we get out of paying him this season, right?
I would think even if there's some sort of morality clause in the contract, since they released him and have now disavowed knowledge of any investigation (doubling down on the "baseball decision" reasons), I don't think they could make any claims to have the deal voided at this point. In other words, I think he'd still have to be on their roster if and when charges were filed or arrests were made for them to have any chance of getting out of paying the remainder of the deal. There’s zero chance we get out of paying him this season, right?
Just someone relaying what was said on radio apparently.Who is this guy?
Looking at his twitter profile, some yahoo nobody. Either he stumbled into the scoop of a lifetime or he's no different than that guy on Reddit who fooled people into thinking the Patriots were about to make a big trade a couple weeks ago.Who is this guy?
Hey shout out to you when I brought up the issue that something happened last week. And all you did was question me! But wait...did something happen? Who was right?Who is this guy?
Federal and State authorities don't usually investigate crimes in the DR, so...Who is this guy?
Hey, my pleasure. I'm banning you for another week now since you've chosen to come back and add nothing except empty gotchas when you had zero content to begin with.Hey shout out to you when I brought up the issue that something happened last week. And all you did was question me! But wait...did something happen? Who was right?

Also shout out to @jon abbey abbey for closing the thread! Good work guys
From what I see all that Kirk said was something was going to break on Hanley. Nothing else.If Minihan actually said on the air that Hanley was involved in a murder and he wasn’t he should be fired immediately.
Sounds like a shitty fall guy.Now reporting that someone who has some connection to Hanley -- and Hanley wasn't there -- got pulled over and found in possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine.

"You have the right to an attorney... Or! You could just face time the guy who funded your drug purchase!"Did the police have the perp actually FaceTime Hanley while he was pulled over? Because that’s hysterical.
“Hi Hanley, it’s me, could you do me a favor and tell the cops the crack is yours?”
Oh God, there's an investigation into Bill Mueller too?Mueller investigation?
But it would seem to answer the question lots of people were asking about the timing of his release. Not surprising that his lack of hitting was leading to a release but it seemed to happen much sooner than everyone thought. Some random guy got busted for possession and he happened to know Hanley (well enough to be able to facetime him). So because the bust happened to coincide with when Hanley was released, it must be related? Seems like a huge stretch to me.
Unless Hanley is actually the drug kingpin of Lawrence, this seems like a whole lot of nothing.
