Brighton playing this high line is suicide in the Premier League. If you are going to play a high line, you've got to have some really incredible athletes at CB (like prime Virgil or Van de Ven) to cover so much ground.
Lewis Dunk and (the now injured) Adam Webster are not a bad pairing at CB, but they aren't suited for this kind of defensive shape.

Even Klopp used to get criticized for the high line - the problem is , if you play like that you need lots of pressure on the ball - which is lacking in Brighton’s case.
You also need an incredibly effective press. If you're playing a high line, you can't give the opposition time and space to play through balls in behind.
