Really Taylor? You think people watching this game don't know that you can't be offside in your own half?

California. Duh.
And Liverpool come back and put one in from Jota. Might be offside, though.

EDIT: Nope, it stands.Defender's shoulder just kept him on.

One nice thing to see is that Horvath has looked comfortable with the ball at his feet, as well as good positioning and stops. He had no chance on the Jota goal.

LFC lucky … sloppy, indecisive, lethargic. Still, one moment of quality and the lack therof from Forrest and LFC are through.
Yup, there's a reason nobody has pulled off the quadruple. Tough to always be on for 60+ games, they are fortunate that nobody's put a critical goal away against them on the off days.

Looking at the replays of the Forest miss, give Alisson some credit. If the shot is on frame, I think he gets a hand on it.

Real vs Barca is pretty end to end, but between both teams wearing change kits and most of the seats that can be seen during the action being tarped off, is has the feel of a preseason friendly in the US.

Real look more like a relegation candidate than a league leader.

Coming out of the locker room, down 0-2, Real managed to give up a Torres breakaway all alone against the keeper 30 seconds in that he somehow missed, then a minute later got sliced apart by Aubameyang and Torres, with Torres putting this one away for 0-3.

That premeditated assault was was hilarious. If it had been the NHL there would have been a bench clearing brawl.

Seemed like it was such a silly thing to do that no one actually took umbrage.
Actually, Sergio Reguilon took it upon himself to get super involved, apparently slapped Cresswell who was trying to drag him away. I never saw the replay, but the announcers said it should probably be reviewed. Fortunately for Reguilon, this incident was followed by the protesters trying to chain themselves to the goalposts, which distracted everyone from the incident.

There was also a funny moment in the second half where the ref barreled over one of Spurs' attackers to end a promising move. Arlo White cheekily noted that "no foul was given."

I couldn’t figure out why Reguilon was so upset … very much a WTF is going on. Do you think it was in response the Son going over as if poleaxed (oh my god the ball touched me! ) ? I don’t remember the exact timing.

edit: just watched again ..definitely reacting to Son going over.

My guess is Reguilon is one of those guys who gets fired up really easily, it's also possible that it looked more intentional/serious from his perspective.

Spurs fans were also giving it to Zouma all game.

Also can't be offside on a throw in, in case you didn't know that either.
I need to look up those offside calls near the corner off free kicks where both players on the same team are standing close together

Cresswell should have dropped to the ground rolling in pain....
