Is Jimenez brain damaged from that knock to his head last year? That is in the top 5 stupidest things I have ever seen.

Did I miss a memo? For the past couple of weeks the commentary teams have been treating Traore like he’s peak Messi. This pair had the balls to say they don’t understand why he doesn’t score more goals. It’s like they don’t actually watch him play.

Foden scares the shit out of me- he’s going to unlock this.

Honestly, if he keeps his arm down it hits him in the arm. Instead, he gets his arm out of the way, hits him in the side, and it's called a handball. Yikes.

It’s the perfect storm of a truly bad ref, a very awkward movement and the silly Var rules. It looked a handball live so the crap ref gives it and the coward Var can’t overturn

Agree not a penalty to me. Although they made a change recently about “making yourself bigger” as intent. Wonder if that was the reasoning.

edit: found this.
“The IFAB have now confirmed that a handball will be awarded if a player makes his body an "unnatural silhouette", i.e. making his body bigger with his arm. It is also automatically an offence if the arm is above shoulder height.”

Yeah Soccermaniac has it correct above. Var can't overturn the decision since its close. Its on Moss for making the call.

I kind of feel bad for Wolves here. They've had 10 guys in their box the whole half.

This assumes the ball actually hit his outstretched arm .. which it didn’t.

Rough two games for Wolves. They’ve played really well and had hard luck losses to Liverpool and Man City. Origi with the goal last week and Jon Moss beating them this week.

I know we are both biased but you must be joking. Moss waved off 4 or 5 penalties today that are often given. He gave the wrong one but Wolves played 11 and 10 behind the ball and were allowed to foul openly for first 20 minutes
Only saw the second half. Saw the replay of the penalty shout from the first half … no way that was a PEN.

City were by miles the better team. They didn’t need the help.

Probably a penalty but Salah certainly made sure the ref didn't miss the foul.

There has been some really excellent defending in this Liverpool/Villa game.

Oh, little chop block there on Allison. Maybe he got the ball before Ings?

Norwich could/should have had at least a point. Utd goal was a very iffy penalty on CR7, Norwich were swarming in the last 20 minutes and only DDG standing on his head kept the Canaries out. Norwich have quietly become a tough out, unfortunately too little too late probably.

Why would it be too late? There are 22 matches left and they are three points from safety.

A VAR check? LOL. At least it got the right decision. That was a literal example of throwing yourself into a challenge.
