I'm assuming he'll say nothing meaningful and will dance around tough questions, but you never know....

Also, will Peter King be there and will he cry if Goodell admits a mistake?

Nice of him to wait for the release of the iPhone 6 to have a press conference.

Do you think this lady on the ESPN panel had to introduce herself to the other ESPN employees?

I'm shocked that they're doing this at 3 on a Friday. Shocked.

Nothing he says now will change public opinion of him and the league.

When should he do it? He's not the President breaking in to primetime coverage.

Seabass--I believe he could say something that hurts himself or the league. But nothing he says will make this better.

Better yet, 3 pm on a Friday. Because that's when people are most tuned in....

I think this just about nails it. It's the equivalent of having a boss spring a "you're fired" meeting for the end of the workday on Friday. There's a very real reason it was scheduled for this time.

Late for his own presser?  Must be wrapping up lunch with Peter King across the street.

Yea, what the dick. 10 minutes late. If you don't know your canned answers by now you'll never know em.

You're completely right. For some reason I was thinking he couldn't make things worse. Obviously, I'm not terribly bright.

Eh, it's the NFL--we're coming up on the 3 days of the week most people pay attention to sports this time of year. Sat through Mon has lots of eyeballs and page hits on NFL news.

I just wish Peter King would go ahead and finish him off so this could get rolling.

Three days where actual sports are played.   The biggest news days for non-game related stuff for the NFL are Wed-Friday.

Why is he blaming himself for NFL players doing dumb things?

People in charge tend to publicly take the fall for things? I mean, when they have job security of course.

At least he hasn't said "domestic violence space" yet. Yet.

It had to be a woman with the first and follow up questions.  Had to be.  Peter King is queued up and ready though.

There's more work to do.

There will be more press releases in the future.

There might be another PC in several months.

Thanks for coming, everyone.

No back tracking for sure at this point.  Gonna live that lie to the bitter end.

I'm hoping someone asks about the recording of an NFL employee admitting that not only did they receive the video but commenting on how terrible it is.

The question about the Bountygate response was nails, and he looks like such a hypocrite.

Remember when Goodell told Sean Payton "if you didn't know you're just as guilty cuz it was your job to know" then suspended him for a year?

BINGO.

Of course the coaches couldn't appeal. No wonder he hit them hard. SUCH. A. DOUCHE.
