Getting a (preferably new) laptop that has windows 10

So my laptop started having issues about a month ago, so I've been looking for a new one. I'd really like one that has windows 10, as the software the company I work with still has some issues with 11. However, it seems like every new laptop comes with windows 11 now.

I bought one laptop at target and another at best buy that both supposedly came with 10, and when I started them up they were both 11. Is it even possible to get a new laptop that still comes with 10 at this point? If not is my only option if I really want 10 to buy a version of 10 and then just install it on a laptop that has 11? I have no idea how easy that is, best buy said they'd do it for $150. Best buy also told me that it's supposedly not recommended to put 10 on a computer that came with 11, but I'm not sure if it's a problem.

I'm not sure if there is anywhere reputable that sells used or refurbished ones that might still come with 10, I guess the issue with that is that if I bought one and didn't really like it I might be stuck with it, the ones I've bought from target or best buy I was able to easily return and get my full money back.

Is there any easy way to get a new or fairly new decent laptop that comes with 10 and won't automatically update to 11?

Most of the big companies sell refurbished computers but I don't how easy it is to return them.

Walmart has a refurbished section that claims to have W10 comoutets: https://www.walmart.com/c/kp/refurbished-computers?facet=processor_brand:Intel||operating_system:Microsoft+Windows. My guess is that you can return these at the store if they don't check out but you should confirm.

I doubt there are many (ang?) W10 new computers shipping right now. If they are being sold retail, they are probably on clearance as they'd likely be around for awhile.

Amazon probably has some too.

I would stick with windows 11. Just create a VM with windows 10 to run those apps that don’t work on 11.

You can get a refurbished Surface Laptop 3 for under $600.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5" Touch-Screen Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive (Latest Model) Matte Black (Renewed) : Electronics (amazon.com)

I've purchased a bunch from that vendor and they come like new in Microsoft packaging. It's Windows 10 out of the box and you can tell it to defer the upgrade.

If it's somehow already on Windows 11, just download Windows 10 to a USB flash drive using the Media Creation Tool and install clean.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
