These OKC role players are giving me flashbacks to the 2008 Celtics as every game it is a different guy stepping up to make a MAJOR impact! Back then it was Cassell who saved us to start the Cleveland series in the first two games, then it was Powe, then PJ Brown, then Baby. With this team one night it's Waiters, the next it's Adams and Kanter, tonight it was Roberson.

That is a sign of a team clicking on all cylinders with an entire team engaged which is dangerous for any opponent to be going up against......even the Warriors. This is going to be a FUN series!!

Yup. As much as I wanted a Spurs/Warriors series in the battle of 73 wins vs. 67, I think Warriors/OKC may be more entertaining. The pace is going to be dizzying. If OKC's bench plays like they did against SA, they'll have a shot but my gut still says Warriors in 5 or 6.

Meanwhile, in the battle for the right to be swept by Cleveland, Heat up by 9 at the half.

Dragic playing perhaps his best half of basketball these playoffs - getting into the paint at will and doing a great job of finishing or dishing.

This brand of basketball is horrifically bad. Meanwhile, Wade looks rejuvenated partially because the Raptors defensive strategy does not appear to include players moving their feet.

DeRozan with a killer crossover to dust Winslow and knock down a jumper to close the third. Miami looks gassed, playing sloppy on offense and relying on rookies.

Well DeRozan was a complete clownshoes for most of that period turning the ball over and taking ill advised shots off of ISOs that let Miami back into the game.

Bismack!!! DeMarre!!

Lowry literally ran over to Biyambo and physically lowered his fist to stop Biyambo from retaliating to the flagrant.

Toronto needs to be careful. Miami, typically, is going to start going for kneecaps and elbows.
Cleveland is going to roll Toronto.
I'm fine with that as long as the Heat lose. After watching the ESPN 30-for-30 on Cleveland, I kinda hope they do win it all.

I disagree on DeRozan. The Raptors offense is designed for him to break down defenses off the dribble. If you only look at the box score (not saying you are) to see 28 points on 29 shots it appears he was "inefficient" however when you recognize how DeRozan's dribble penetration forces the defenses to rotate and help seal the lanes it created a shit ton of second chance opportunities for Biyombo and Patterson as their defender is now not in position to keep them off the glass. DeRozan's ability to break down the defense was the reason Toronto was able to generate 20 offensive rebounds and many putbacks off of them. It was reminiscent of Antoine Walker in Miami's championship playoff run. Looks bad in the box score but highly effective on the court.

I think Oklahoma City can win this series, but they need a lot of things to break their way.

A) Westbrook really needs to play the best series of his life, particularly on the defensive end. Even when OKC was playing well against San Antonio, I felt that Westbrook still struggled getting around screens and allowed Parker to penetrate into the paint and finish at the rim. Parker will hurt you if he does that, but Curry will MURDER you if they are that non-committal on defense.

B) OKC swung the series by riding with Kanter and Adams on the floor at the same time. I'm not sure they can get away with playing them both at the same time against GS. If GS goes with their traditional lineup, I assume Kanter is going to guard Green, which is troublesome because those Curry/Green pick-and-rolls force the man guarding Green to leap-out and attack Curry or else Curry is going to score 50 points and make 10 three pointers. Adams can probably do that but Kanter? Maybe Kanter guards Iguodala and Durant guards Green but I'm not sure that is much better. If Kanter plays the best defense of his career and is able to hang in there defensively, than OKC has a real shot because they can bury GS on the boards and pound the offensive glass.

Got some unique circumstances tonight that requires me to try and stream the game. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Wow, OKC have zero spacing on offense so far. There's just nowhere for Westbrook and Durant to go

I've said it for a while, but I believe Thompson is probably now the best man-to-man defender in the NBA. He's like a damn glove. So impressive to watch from a guy that's so special on the offensive end too.

Klay is one of the games most underappreciated stars. Overshadowed by Curry much like how Joe Dumars was by Isiah Thomas back in the day. Such a great great all around player.

Durant going ice cold at the worst time, he's missed his last 5 shots and GS lurking within one possession

Is there anything worse than a series of timeouts leading to a bunch of commercial breaks in the last three minutes of a tight playoff game?

Why do Draymond and Thompson have as many FG attempts as Curry? The Ws have consistently taken the ball out of Curry's hands in the 4th quarter. Either he's hurt worse than anyone knows, or something bizarre is going on.
