Doesn't look like there is one to discuss non-Celtic and non-GSW historic run.

Games start tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. A few interesting matchups but I don't see any upset potentia. Maybe Carlisle can outcoach Donovan a couple times but I can't see okc blowing it.

The Heat vs Hornets match-up is interesting to me, a bit of a grit vs glamor kind of battle. Opponents are shooting 51 percent at the rim when Whiteside is defending it and Big Al owns him which is funny considering he can't jump over a phone book. The grounded-post players naturally do very well against Whiteside because the guy tries to block everything and gets easily placed out of position by herky-jerky post players.

The Warriors vs GS series is going to be fun, even if only from a morbid sense. I think it could go five or six though, Harden's second-half has been terrific, averaging 30-6-8 and I think he outplayed Curry in last years' series.

Why don't the Pacers have a better record?

I would not be surprised to see Indiana win this series. PG is the best player on either team and Ellis can score.

I always forget how much I hate Toronto's fan base.

They have no bench and no big men, Turner is forced to play way more than he's ready for because of it.

What was Lowry thinking there with that foul off the ball?
Horrible decision - only thing we don't know is if he had been doing that all game and the refs just decided to call it now. That said, the Pacers have made him work so hard and he has been so inefficient. At least for this game, Vogel and George have been better than Casey and Lowry.

Paul George was great in the 4th.

Shout out to the front running ass raptor fans who were dead silent all 4th quarter when the team needed some damn energy.

Curry blowing out an ankle would certainly make this series more interesting...not that I'm wishing for it, they are too much fun to watch play.

Though, Houston still loses...

Curry's ankle is the absolute key to the championship. If he is hurt, the playoffs just got a whole lot more interesting.

The Mavericks are hot garbage but we knew that already. In other news, that Draymond Green screen of Patrick Beverley was a thing of beauty and a welcome bit of old school NBA play. Btw, after the game, Draymond Green said he respects Beverley for doing what got him a job in the association - while he was definitely trying to "out-physicial" Curry from the start (including the pre-game handshake), its is, indeed, what got him here. That said, Green clearly sent him a message that force is going to be met with force.

The Mavericks are a poor matchup for the Thunder -- a slower, older team against an energetic (though sloppy) younger team.... Thunder fans will never forgive Beverley for the Westbrook injury a few years ago. He's a punk, and I hope the Warriors send him many, many more messages to him.....

I have never seen a harder, line drive shot off the glass in my lifetime than the one Stanley Johnson just took from 12 feet. That was bizarre.

Cleveland looks way too passive on offense, just settling for a ton of contested threes. Need LeBron to go alpha dog mode soon.

Drummond should shoot his free throws as hook shots. I have a weird love of Reggie Jackson. I hear a lot of guys shit on his play but whenever I see him, I love his game and his attitude even more. He's got a lot of "fuck you" in him

Yes, he does have a lot of "fuck you" in him! Durant and Westbrook (and Thunder fans) have not forgotten how he whined his way out of OKC. But, he don't care. He gets to be da man, da point guard.

It is said a lot, but I have never seen a player bitch so much about calls as LeBron, especially for a player that has made his name plowing recklessly through people.

The whining for a trade didn't work though as OKC kept him throughout his rookie contract. If he whined himself out of town he'd have been a starting PG in this league 2 -3 years ago. He's very good.

Yup. He acquitted himself well that year that Westbrook got hurt.

Oh, Reggie's whining did pay off (sort-of). He was traded in the last year of his rookie deal after his teammates essentially accused him of "failure to play hard." He was OK when Westbrook was injured, but once he returned, Jackson didn't like it and gave very little effort on defense and otherwise.

How much longer is Drummond tied up for? I like Drummond, Morris and Jackson as a core

RJ is fun to watch and a good player without a doubt but he does infuriating things pretty regularly. I think I would want to strangle him if he was on the C's.

I'd love this guy if he was on the Celtics. Kevin Love, now that is a guy I would have to choke down vomit to root for.

I stand corrected and forgot he was a deadline deal prior to hitting FA. I was thinking his 5/$80m deal was as a FA.

3 more games.
But he is a restricted free agent, and I'd have to think that Detroit would match any contract -- meaning that other GMs won't waste their negotiating time on Drummond until all the first- and second-tier unrestricted free agents have signed.

I agree. My response was tongue in cheek regarding this series. Poor interweb translation sorry.

Raymond Felton is outplaying both Durant and Westbrook tonight in OKC.

Crazy finish, OKC did not deserve to win that game, their stars sucked in the fourth quarter.
