Huge 3 points for 'pool there....win out and it gets awful interesting for that 4th spot
If they win out, they almost assuredly make the top 4. It would take Chelsea beating Leicester and Leicester passing Liverpool on Goal Differential. Of course, Leicester would have lost so that's -1 from that game and Liverpool would have won 3 in that case so +3. It would take a big win against Spurs for Leicester to come through. That Rashford miss at the end may have been big.

California. Duh.
Games against the top half haven't been the problem this season. I'm really looking forward to the 97th minute equalizer from Burnley next week to keep them out.

Had to record the match. Damn, Trent was playing like a man possessed today! He needs to maintain this form if Pool are going to run the table.

I'll preface this by saying I expect Salah would have scored regardless of the keeper's actions, but damn did Henderson misplay that. Just look at this position. He opened 2/3 of the goal. Hey, at least he didn't get beaten near post!

That is as they say suboptimal positioning. And as you say Salah probably buries it either way, but being that far off your spot, really takes the pressure off the attacker.

He really needed to come out much more and make Salah beat him. He is out of position laterally but there’s basically no good place to stand if you’re that close to the goal.

De Gea has regressed a lot but I just don’t see Henderson as a top level replacement.

PSA: Newcastle and City are playing one of the more fun meaningless games you'd ever want to see. 2-2 at halftime.

3-3 now 60 minutes in. Fire up the 'Cock and watch.
