After going up 2-1, City down to ten men after Stones takes out some Villa dude.

Pep going batshit on the touchline and taps the fourth official on the shoulder as he's chewing him out. He'd get run in an American sport for that.
Wait, would that red carry over into the LC Final?

It should. It’s a direct red for serious foul play. Tough one for the ref. I think he’s just beaten to the ball by the Villa players relatively high touch but you are responsible for your studs and he clearly gets him late and high.

VAR replays to be in real-time. Look at the speed involved. That challenge doesn’t fit any definition of serious foul play. It’s a yellow at most for a 50/50 mistimed by a fraction of a second too small for the human brain to process.

Agreed I'd rather it see it as a yellow but a red isn't shocking, it's a close call.

The important question is, does it carry into the SL? :p

Cash gets a second yellow for a no need slide tackle on Foden, wide on the flank, no immediate danger. Pillock.

Villa have lost their man advantage.

Pep proving a point to the team to focus on UCL. No quadruple or even treble. Laporte-Dias pairing on Sunday?
Carabao Cup final might go to PKs
