Great defensive performance from City. Other than the penalty, Liverpool have really created nothing in the second half.

With the way they've looked recently, 65 more consecutive home losses to even it out doesn't seem out of the question

Way too early to call the league but obviously hard for Liverpool to get back in.

Citys next month in the league: Spurs, Everton, Arsenal, West Ham early Ko 2 days after a CL tie, United. Obviously a good position to be in but a lot of potential to drop points in there

Sam's football is soul-crushing, but he's got a droll sense of humor. When he was managing Everton, he gave a press conference where he deadpanned at length about his position in Bitcoin.

Makes sense. His teams play the football equivalent of a filibuster. May as well carry over to press conferences.

If you like watching tired and cold players misplay simple passes West Ham and Manchester United are in extra time in the FA cup, it has been exceptionally poor play, but hey... extra time.

The ballwashing that Strong and Holden are giving Alphonso Davies during the Club World Cup final is nauseating. They just waxed poetic about him running after a ball headed out of bounds that he got nowhere close to, but they were nonetheless astounded by his attempt.
