I don’t know why I got up early to watch Spurs huff and puff against West Brom, but here I am.

Despite his history of returning from injury too soon, Kane looks fine.

Spurs still pretty blah though.

better than I expected, but only because the last few games beat me down enough as a fan that I kinda thought they’d somehow cede possession to West Brom.

The 718
I think Sams playing 14-0-0, I think West Brom have a few ball boys standing in the six yard box

The 718
How could he hide them in the high visibility safety uniforms his team is wearing?
Right? Levels of humiliation- 19th place side, playing for Sam, then having to wear that atrocity. If I played for West Brom I’d wear a bag over my head

Utter garbage from West Brom. They earn a free kick in the break, recklessly take it immediately instead of dumping it into the box, then concede off the ensuing passage.

“Careless” is an interesting way to phrase “trying deliberately to spike Ben Davies in the dick”.

This has been ok from Spurs against a poor West Brom side. But lol at sitting back and defending at 2-0. Just keep the ball! Why let them back into the game?

Also it’s silly that Kane is going to play 90 minutes with the game in hand.

Given the tendency of even great Poche teams to draw friggin’ West Brom, I’ll take this if it holds quibbles and all.

This is starting to look like the end of a pickup game when both sides are too tired but nobody wants to admit “next goal wins” will take all night.

Allison, Mane, & Fabinho in. Kabak in the squad. Welcome to the EPL, big fella.

Edit: Gini, Thiago, & Jones in the midfield. I rink that’s the best 3 at the moment, with the Captain & Fabinho back at CB.

Given all the results around the league I’d take a draw if offered one.

imagine there are a lot of unlikely Liverpool fans today

He was looking to go down when he started the dribble. That’s the game these days so can’t blame him.

edit: yes, i acknowledge Liverpool has a few who would do the same.

Justice for faking a life threatening injury earlier.
I think he was obviously hurt earlier he’s been extremely poor and off the pace all match.
There wasn’t much in the tackle so I couldn’t tell you what was hurt but he went from the surprisingly spry Gundogan who has featured last 10 weeks to the slow footed non entity he had been earlier

Maybe he should have come off for one of City’s other midfielders? Or maybe not taken the penalty?

It doesn’t matter who takes the penalty they all suck.

with KDB out theonly replacement for Gundogan is a youth player on the bench, Fernandinho who isn’t really going forward, or moving Foden there with Jesus going up top. Sadly Gundogan probably was the best option but I had no faith it was going in.

I absolutely hate when Liverpool get Salah isolated on Zinchenko.

Gini, Robbo, and TAA generated almost all the good attacking thrust that half. Henderson passing over the top was quite effective, too. Would like to see Mane and Salah get on the ball and dribble more, though, put more pressure on City's fullbacks.

Would also like to see Ederson in a turtle neck to hide that hideous fucking tat.
