To kick this off - City at Wolves just finished an excellent first half. Wolves had a goal correctly disallowed, and City hit the woodwork twice - the second in a remarkable shot by Sterling prompting an even more remarkable save by Rui that tip the ball on to the crossbar.

Second half should be something. Wolves do not look intimidated.

Not terribly shocking, City have been poor all match. Kompany in particular has been horrible, would have been responsible for JImenez's (disallowed) goal and had a couple other turnovers in prime position for Wolves.

Goal was offside twice and a handball. Then Silva taken down with a good shout and of course waved away. Wolves have played well though and rode their luck a bit and that’s always how you claim a big win

The fact that Wolves have a Jon Otto on their squad harkens me back to Significant Other-era Limp Bizkit

Sane's touch has been atrocious since coming on...like he's playing with an oversized bouncy ball.
Agreed. Of course, right after you say that, he dribbles 4 Wolves defenders

Woodwork for Agüero on the FK, 1-1 it is. Nice result for Wolves

Not getting any better for Arsenal thus far, Arnautović sneaks a low corner shot past Čech off a one-two with Felipe Anderson.

The "Visit Rwanda" sponsorship just seems... weird

Within 5', Nacho Monreal levels for Arsenal

Richarlison shown a straight red for an 'altercation' with Adam Smith, haven't seen a replay yet but from the sounds of it it's really weak.

Yeah there's motion from Richarlison but it's clearly goaded on by Smith

Richarlison sent off for head butting a Bournemouth guy.

Not a violent head butt and he was being provoked but still stupid.

What a complete nonsense red. Any player who gets in someone’s face then runs and cries to the ref deserves to be tackled by Joey Barton for the next 70 minutes

Saw it again and it’s really harsh. They were jawing head to head and it was dumb but it was slight and Smith of Bournemouth way oversold his reaction.

Frustrating but decent first half for West Ham, should be at least 1 goal up, maybe 2. Bungled 3 clear chances and had a close offside call go against us.

Would like to see Chicharito on fairly early in the second half. He'd eat these CBs alive with his movement and he doesn't miss good chances.

Between that red and City laying an egg at Wolves, the whole world’s FPL team is shot to hell

Thankfully I don't have anyone from City, and haven't yet snagged Richarlison - but Salah hasn't got out of second gear, and Aubameyang has shat the bed his first few matches.

As I type that, he's moved out wide to make space for Lacazette

It's like every West Ham players could have done with an extra hour in bed. They're so sloppy and low key. If i was a fan I'd be beelin.

Every time I see Bournemouth play, instead of seeing the little team that could, I see a bunch of assholes behaving right at the line or over, of fair play. I really don't like the way that team plays.

Welbeck gets a late goal to make it 3-1 and West Ham have conspired to make Arsenal look like a mid table side, which flatters the fuck out of them.

West Ham have been a disgrace this half. They need to get back to the basics on the training ground. Passing, short passing, Low pressure passing. Staying on yer feet. Looking for a player to pass the ball to. Omega Oil for every player.

Very bad scene at Bournemouth. Keane and Gueye clash heads in the air in front of goal, and Kesne goes down like dead weight and hits his head even harder on the ground. Looked out cold. Neck brace, oxygen, backboard. Scared for him.

CR7 with a hilarious flop with Juve defending a free kick. He looked for Lazio player, found one, ran into him and threw himself to the ground with a shriek. Not sure if that was the call or if it was deeper in the box but Juve got the ball back. I'm starting to remember why I used to dislike him so much...

That looked like it could easily have been a straight red before the Gomez header. He didn't touch the ball and completely blew Milner up. That said I only know he was late because I got the benefit of an up close super slowmo while the ref was 20 yards and behind the play. Crazy hard job they have at the speed the game is played.

AB reminding us once again that it is neither Karius nor Mignolet back there.

Robertson has done well on runs down the wing but has consistently held onto the ball too long before crossing. Between that and a meh showing by Mane and Bobby it’s been an underwhelming match today.

Not easy and a few nervous moments, but 3 points.

At least these days I can watch the opponent have a free kick or corner in the last 10 minutes and not think there's a 90% chance they will score.

I’m watching Union Berlin and St. Pauli in a 2 Bundesliga March and just saw something kind of funny. A player for Union went down in the St. Pauli box with a cramp or something. They stop play and he’s taken off to the sideline. Play resumes and St. Pauli starts advancing. The Union player is then allowed back on the field. He chases down the St. Pauli player (who has no expectation of an opposing player behind him) and promptly takes the ball from behind and goes on the attack with his teammates to form a 3 on 2. They flubbed it, but St. Pauli, as you might expect, took exception to this tactic.

Well, Max Meyer looks like the real deal. He's got to be in the XI from now on.

Mourinho with a pretty defensive team selection against Spurs: Four defenders, then Matic, Herrera, Fred, Pogba, and Lingard with Lukaku up top. I have no clue how they'll line up.

As an aside, how can espnfc's writing and coverage continue to be so terrible? They have a headline for this game of "Man United's Jose Mourinho Faces Biggest Game of His Career." The man has managed multiple Champions League finals.

Yeah, that headline is ridiculous. Even if you wanted to take it from the perspective of potentially needing a win to save his job (which would be hyperbolic in itself), it's not like he hasn't been in that spot in his career before. Both stints at Chelsea ended poorly, plus he managed Real Madrid, where any loss has people calling for your job.
