Life and football goes on. Sadly we have another international break after this round of league fixtures.

That first half at the London Stadium was hard work. Everton much the better team, West Ham look a bit lost.

West Ham should be a goal in front. Summerville hits the post. Best chance of a match that's been fairly dull. West Ham have given the ball away so cheaply at times Id be kicking myself if i was an Everton fan for not really going for the three points. West Ham are something of a wounded animal at the moment, but Everton haven't made life as hard for them as they could have.

Pickford basically earned Everton a point all by himself. Hard to think a keeper that has meant more to their club in recent years than Pickford.

City's lineup by shirt number:

31, 2, 24, 66, 82, 8, 19, 26, 27, 47, 9.

Brighton's:

1, 3, 29, 30, 34, 11, 22, 26, 41, 14, 18.

(old man yells at cloud) I miss when teams lined up 1-11 and each number corresponded to a specific position.

Haaland‘s sore loser bs really needs to have some consequences at some point. He’s such a frigid little snowflake.

The Brit’s have a word for people like him but it can’t be used in polite company.

Darwin would have done better to play the ball instead of looking for contact. But that was a foul on Mo.

Guess we couldn’t have eased Cootes back from his suspension with Wolves/Southampton? He’s giving me consequential bad call vibes already.

Ugh. Best hope is that Trent stays home for the break and is ready to go in 2 weeks.

I said consequential call and should have said consequential non-call. He’s afraid to call anything that could be controversial after his suspension.

Oh boy. He has to learn how to compose himself when he's expected to score. Or he'll be out the door.
He was so concerned about the defender that he failed to set himself for the shot (had it way too far back). Great strikers are clinical there and seem to not even know there is a defender.

California. Duh.
Great replay showing Mo bluffing the pass to open Martinez up a bit, then chipped it by him at the near post.

What a goal from Ipswich. Dude hits a bicycle to go up on Spurs. No doubt that Spurs will score at least a couple but that was special.

Bentancur pulls one back for Spurs. Game on. Ipswich running down the clock at every opportunity like good uns. Don't blame them.

Ipswich, like Luton last season, try to play football with the big boys. Like Luton, I think they’ll go back down because they’re not good enough. But they’ve got some quality, for sure.

Spurs could have won this game, even giving up two.
