we were 6-13 and then swept the Rays in Tampa. nothing should surprise anyone with this team including suddenly playing well against the toughest competition coming up. every game they could be really good or really awful.

You should be punished for that. I remember when Bob Ryan chastised Sox fans for cheering the end of Mussina's no- hitter at Fenway. He and you are nuts. Root for your own team, dammit.
I don’t get this. If I’m cheering for an underperforming team that isn’t going anywhere I’d rather watch something unique and memorable that just another inexcusable ho-hum loss.

If Cashner's a true Red Sox starter, his pitch count will be pushing 100 sometime early in the fifth inning ...

Bi-Coastal, for the time being
Worst pitcher ever to throw a perfect game: Dallas Braden?

[Just cheated: Charlie Robertson threw one for the White Sox over the Tigers in 1922 en route to a 49-80 career record.]

There is no doubt he has been a real disappointment so far this season.
I wish I had taken a picture, but I went to a Sox game this spring (Early March). Benintendi was easily 15-20lbs heavier than he is now. Mostly in the legs and butt. I said to my buddy ..."doesn't look like Benny worked too hard over the winter. I bet he doesn't have a good season"......I didn't know how prophetic I would be

No- hitters are not unique and I don't know that we'll remember Unpronounceable whatever he does this steamy afternoon.
And I guess I haven't entirely given up on our under-performing team yet.

I’m living through a repeated nightmare everyday. Sox performance and the Danny Devito commercials on MLB TV.

I guess summer is better than winter, baseball is better than no baseball, and we have had so much sucess over the past decade and a half with WS wins. Especially when before 2004 we had more reason to be miserable. So, I tell myself, don't worry be happy but it isn't easy..

So all we have left is the irony factor- It's too hot to leave this guy in for the no-no. He might die.

So let's see how the O's management deals with it.

Pretty cool how people thought the Rays/Yankees stretch would determine the season and the worst team in baseball put us in our place first.
Last Sunday while preparing mentally for the week I thought 6-1 or 7-0 would happen and from there on. Lol, I’m an idiot.

Also stuck listening to the Baltimore broadcast and the announcers are giddy. Still hopeful, that the Sox will turn it around.

So let's see how the O's management deals with it.

Years from now thousands of LET'SGOO'S!! fans will claim they were at the ballpark and witnessed the no no thrown by Ashton Wojecieshitshow vs the 27 who were actually there to see it.

Edit; or not.
