Bi-Coastal, for the time being
I was at the Dodgers game last night and Kershaw had a start like this -- 5 K's through 2 and 7 through 3. Left with a 6-0 lead in the 7th and the Marlins came back on the Dodgers bullpen to tie it up in the 8th...before their own bullpen coughed it right back and the Dodgers won 10-6.

I could totally see that happening today (with the Orioles playing the part of the Dodgers)
Well on our way to the 6-0 lead.

MFY are trailing 5-1 In the third. Paxton was not the answer for them. They will be exposed in October. Another year without winning a WS.
And Cashner is worst than Hector or Johnson.

Cashner, whom Baltimore traded to Boston last weekend, confirmed to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com that he indeed would have held out through year’s end had the Orioles dealt him somewhere he didn’t want to go.
“I mean what I said,” he told Cotillo. “This is one of the places I would come. It wasn’t a place that I would ever not come to. We’re talking about the World Series champions. Why would you not come here?”

Gotta hand it to the Orioles GM for knowing when to sell high (though he didn't get much, true).

At this point a win for this year is if the yanks don’t win the series. This team might make the playoffs but we are going nowhere. Enjoy the big years from devers and X, but the rest is pretty disappointing

The MFY will trade for another starter because they aren't busy paying Fat Panda to play in SF.

Andrew, feel free to allow the forthcoming contempt from Boston fans to serve as motivation for changing your mind.

So where exactly would he consider to be worse than Baltimore?

Cashner was 9-3 for a horrendous Oriole team with an ERA under 4.00. As soon as he gets to Boston, he falls completely apart.

Seems like the only way Trashner can reliably get outs is to throw wild pitches that don't squirt too far away.

So this was pretty much a stud until he joined the Sox right? Now he’s shitting his pants.
He was having a good season, but if you had asked me before the season, I would have said he’s one of the worst starters in the league.
Much of that would come from playing DFS and the fact that he was one of a handful of pitchers that you’d basically autostack against whenever he took the mound.
