Surprised nobody has started this yet.

Judon

Lotta folks on the defense deserve credit today. Offense...not so much.

Three up:
Judon
Folk
Uche

Three down:
Mac
Bailey
Wynn

A win is a win and this game was dominated by the Pats’ D. I don’t think we saw anything that might show the Pats can beat an actual good team, but beating bad ones counts too.

1. Judon and Uche
2. The Joneses - mostly Jon but a little bit of Mac, Marcus, and Jack
3. Stevenson, for the great ok ne handed TD catch and for gaining a decent number of yards in a game where he often had to make the first guy miss in the backfield.

Not enough attention is being given to the fact that Geno Smith has been really fucking good this season. Like...REALLY good.

IND OL - they have been arguably a top 3 OL last 3-4yrs and suddenly became the worst OL overnight - after this week it won't be close

The defensive front was magnificent today. Did we ever find out what the deal with last 3rd of the season Judon was last year? Was it just the after effects of COVID? He's even better this year than he was in the first half last year, phenomenal player.

Judon, Uche, Bentley and Peppers seemed to be all over the field today.

He is fantastic and I think really could have a difference down the stretch last year if he was healthy. I just hope he gets the chance to make meaningful plays in December and January. He has to be the best pure pass rusher Bill has had in NE.

Jonathan Jones with the blocked punt and pick 6. Maybe he’s not getting enough love because Gumbel credited the Colts #31 with the block. :)

I'm, uhhh, saying don't give up yet on Mac! Even Geno Smith is good now.

I was heartened to see the return of Uche as a playmaker. Two years ago, I thought he was going to be a star, but he wasn't great last year.

Other game balls to the usual suspects, Judon, both Joneses, Folk, Rham.

Just like last week, Folk and the consistent D pressure. Haven't seen a lot of high sack games during the great Patriot's run so this is fun to watch. If the D pressure continues, combined with the two headed monster running game, we're gonna be tough for a lot of teams down the line

While I'm happy about the win, I can't imagine Bailey has too long for the team. This was one of the worst performances I've seen from a punter.

The bye would give them time to bring someone in who they’d be comfortable with on kickoffs and the field goal operation. Looks to me like Bailey’s timing is off; like he’s rushing his kicks.

They’re not dumping Bailey right now. Assuming they’re at the point where they are comfortable eating his 2023 salary (guaranteed), they don’t even have the cap space to absorb the dead money his release would create.

And if he’s hurt they’ll IR him and gamble with a street FA. But there is no indication that is on the table at the moment.

Yeah the Colts are absolute junk on offense at the moment and the conditions for them weren't great. However, that was as good of a display of lane and contain discipline as you'll ever see. Folks in the right place all game, crashing upfield, but holding contain hard and not giving big seams either. The group was a joy to watch. The secondary was probably great too, but you never really needed to find out.

Yeah--I think it was Mac in the post-game said they understood what the Colts were dealing with on offense so they just wanted to avoid the turnovers and they figured the defense would handle the rest.

On one of the Colts' RPOs, Duggar did a fantastic job at setting the edge and forcing Ehlinger back inside where he was stopped short of a 1st down. I really took
note of that.

Uche had one that I noticed. Maybe Ehlinger isnt that good at it, but that was definitely the type of play where a previous Uche, or winovich, or whomever would have crashed inside to try and make the tackle, thereby helping the O-lineman to move him into irrelevance on the play.

The increased contribution of Peppers has definitely been the silver lining of the Dugger injury a few weeks back. Game ball to the coaches for getting the team back on track after the Bears massacre.
