The game where they are losing to a mediocre team with a mediocre goalie. You would think prime Patrick Roy was out there.
What does that have anything to do with heart? Even a mediocre goalie can stand on his head and bounces happen. They've dominated everything but the score tonight.

Tuukka did not have an off night. He was completely let down by the team in front of him. Can’t win many games when you score zero.
True but letting in 4 is also almost always a recipe for disaster. .778 save % ugh.

Hats off to binnington. He finally played as well as the broadcasters talked him up to be. Schenn tarasenko o Reilly and pietrangelo balled out. Our guys couldn’t overcome. Coaches were slow to adjust to gameplay and tactics.

All that said, I’ll never forget how differently games 4 and 5 were reffed though.

The worst part of this is that Perron will be happy. That fucker does not deserve happiness after his shitshow of a series.

What a beat down. Tip of the cap, St. Louis. They made the absolute most of their limited chances tonight. Just not our night.

gooning it up early in the series pays dividends in the end

congrats to the blues, this game shouldn't tarnish rask's legacy a single bit, but unfortunately it will

Lost three home games. Just a massive choke no other way to slice it.

Marchand picks literally anywhere else to shoot on the PP and it’s a whole different game. Also probably a different game if he didn’t fire his brain into space with ten seconds to go.

Fucking scrimmage.

Seems like they always have someone unmolested in front of Rask and we never have anyone with their stick on the ice in front of Binnington.

Least talented Stanley Cup winning team since the 2006 Hurricanes are teabagging the Bruins at home.

Top line has to score. Way too many chances in the first (and all game).

Sucks how big an impact Kelly Sutherland and Steve Kozari had on this cup.

Congrats to St Louis. Maybe you can use your post-Cup glee to further restrict your non-white male residents’ rights.

Lost to the best team the past 5 months and an insane goalie performance, no real shame.

Debrusk badly outworked on that last goal. He was invisible after TOR, really hope we find out he has cracked ribs or something.

Anyone who thinks Rask hasn't been great tonight does not know what they are talking about.

He made about 5 great saves between the 2nd and 3rd goals, and you can't put any of the goals on him.
The goal at the end of the first was a play he could have made and he NEEDED to make and he didn’t. Yeah Marchand let the play happen but you want to be an all time goalie? You gotta make that play.

Every time I watch hockey, I come away with the same conclusion. Because it’s so difficult to maintain possession of the ball (puck), luck plays a much greater factor than in other sports.

I saw a team that dominated tonight. They lost.

The inconsistency of the first line is as big a reason as any as to why they’ve lost the series. So many chances unrealized.

Sort of the anti-2011

And as people often say, you are what the numbers say you are, and right now, one guy's numbers say 1.000, the others say .750. Tuuk had no chance on the last one, but the others...

Well second goal probably they gave up that shit on the bad shift & they were shell shocked & that was it.

Can’t believe we are gonna watch another team skate on the Garden ice with the cup. Embarrassing.
