Should it be someone Bruins related? Brady would blow the roof off the place. As would (wishful thinking and not in any way saying it's possible) an Ortiz shoutout from the jumbotron.

Is the consensus that we see TB12 waving the flag tonight?

Who waved in Games 1 + 2? (I know BB waved in Game 5).
BB was game 2, Orr and Sanderson were game 5.

This link gives the list of everyone from the playoffs:

Leafs
Game 1 - no one
Game 2 - Gronk
Game 5 - Savard
Game 7 - Edelman

Columbus
Game 1 - Jaylen Brown
Game 2 - Aly Raisman
Game 5 - David Andrews

Carolina
Game 1 - Bourque
Game 2 - Orr

SCF
Game 1 - 2011 guys
Game 2 - Belichick
Game 5 - Orr/Sanderson

TB12, wearing a B's jersey. As he's waving the banner he turns around revealing Ortiz 34 on the back. Garden implodes. If Brady is off at some other locale or not willing, Pedro's in town. Same theme, different God waving the banner.

I don't know much about hockey, but I do know Boston sports and I'm along for the ride to glory forever. Last time the Bruins won the Cup I lived in Vancouver and dutifully rooted for the Canucks. 2011 was decidedly bittersweet, with the delicate taint of tear gas. This time, I'm all in.

And if by ill fortune we lose, don't riot.
Are you a native Canuck? If not, wtf?

I dunno, love Brady, love Pedey — obviously— but bring back Jules too. Good game 7 mojo.

My first child was born two weeks to the day after Super Bowl XXXVI, so he missed out on that and his life is incomplete. Win this to make up for the suffering he has had to endure since as a fan.

Needs to be TB12 w/ a 34 on. Please let it be.

Ordering pizza and a super beef from Mike's in Woburn. I have Richardson's in the freezer.

My son was born in '01 and took his 1st steps as the Patriots were starting their playoff run. He's know practically nothing but winning literally his entire life. Hockey and the Bruins are his true loves, so it would only be fitting to start his adulthood with a Cup win. We've only been to one parade and you can guess which one. Before I send him off to college I want to share one more. I'm not looking for a good game, suspense or any of that. I want the 3rd period to be a coronation of Bergy and Z, two of the finest sportsmen to play in our city. I want this for Tuukka so the answer to every hater can be Conn Smythe and nothing more.

Bury them early and dance on the graves in the 3rd.

Win tomorrow and so many things come to light. Bergy and Z cement their Hall of Fame status. Marchand gets on that track. Krejci gets 46 in the rafters. Rask gets 40 into the rafters and shuts all the haters up forever. McAvoy gets the torch and becomes the next 10-15 year leader of this franchise and Carlo joins him on that 1st D pairing. Pasta is finally recognized league wide as one of the best young players in the game. Cassidy joins Cora and Belichick in the club.

60 minutes away from immortality. This season started in China and can end with a parade. Play freely and just concentrate on getting shots on Binnington and jumping on the juicy rebounds. The ice will be bad so don't try to be too cute with too many passes. Get as many pucks on net and see what happens. Take the fight to them.

We're fucking winning the Stanley Cup tomorrow.
I'm with you in spirit, but...Krejci's number retired?

If Nifty's number (988 pts in 1005 games RS, 100 pts in 114 games Playoffs) is retired, Krejci's (643 pts in 850 games RS, 102+ pts in 131+ games Playoffs) should be in the conversation with at least one Cup considered.

Krejci's time under Julien also really suppressed his offensive output in the regular season... probably played 75% of the average TOI that Middleton got.

With Middleton and O'Reilly retired (although O'Reilly also had notable coaching time), it's certainly not implausible. Just not one that I really considered. I always considered Middleton and O'Reilly to be the reps from that 70s/early 80s period which was a great time despite not winning the Cup. With Chara, Bergeron, Rask, and probably Marchand ultimately being retired at some point in the next 10 years, the 2010-2020 Bruins era will be amply represented. I'd say it's a 50/50 chance.

move the feet score the goals fuck the refs

St. Louis built a 600-foot monumental arch to commemorate the fact that everyone who washed up there immediately wanted to leave for California. Fucking think about that.

Pedro and Brady. Both wearing Ortiz jerseys. Pedro vigorously waves the flag, Brady screams a ferociously high pitched, "Let's goooooo!"

Then they lock eyes and kiss.

Too much? I'm losing it.

Is it game time yet?
