What a fuckin way to go. Took a different route but haven’t been this shellshocked by a sporting event since, well, the Chicago series.

What a crazy game. Look at the stats without the score and it looks like a Bruins romp. And yet...

So glad this team gets to set the league back 10 years.

Play like shit, get a few bounces and sit back the rest of the game.
My wife turned it on in the second period, she’s not a huge hockey fan, but she even realized that after they took a 2-0 lead, they were just playing defense after that.

Story of the series if we lose is the disappearing act by some of our more skilled players, most notably Marchand

Goalie difference tonight. Night and Day. Ugh
Bennington is either great or awful and he’s been insanely good tonight. Hell of a day to play the game of your life. Rask...not so much. This probably impacts his legacy unfortunately because he’s been pretty awesome all playoffs and all year.

Binnington is looking as good as Reimer in 2013 through the first 52 minutes. Let's treat him like Reimer for the next 8.

Binnington played out of his mind and Tuukka had an off night...that’s not the whole story of the game but it’s a big part.
Tuukka did not have an off night. He was completely let down by the team in front of him. Can’t win many games when you score zero.

Can’t even say they were outplayed tonight honestly. That’s hockey, shit happens.
You kinda can - cashing opportunities is definitely part of playing well (as is the odd steal by the G of an opportunity that should be cashed).

Whoever said that the Bs might be Dryden'd tonight should be banned forever.

The “no heart” and “didn’t show up” stuff is garbage. They’ve played their asses off. Just can’t score.

I’d say Binnington isn’t mediocre
I would, most of the saves in the first went into his chest with half the net open.

The last few if they elevate the puck they go in.

He has been a rebounding machine and even if the announcers say he is controlling the rebounds, I have never seen a goal control them into the slot on purpose.

The guy has gotten lucky that the Bruins haven't been able to put back his rebounds.

Anyone who thinks Rask hasn't been great tonight does not know what they are talking about.

He made about 5 great saves between the 2nd and 3rd goals, and you can't put any of the goals on him.

I don’t understand complaints about effort they’ve created a ton just haven’t been able to beat the goalie. I know we have all doubted his quality but you have to tip your cap to that kid tonight he’s been unreal
not many great chances since the 1st period.
