Alright. I’m switching to play by play summary in the app. TV is off. I’ve done this in the past, and it’s worked. The game is being recorded so I can go back and watch their victory in full detail. See you guys after they win in OT.

Blues have 10 shots on Goal in 2 periods? Is that a record low. When the Patriots were down 28-3, and the Red Sox were down 3 games to zip against the fucking yankees, I accepted the loss, but thought, just play well the rest of the game. Relax, and just play your added of for respect and pride. And, well, we all know what happened. I see the Blues getting another Delay Of Game Penalty puck in the stands, and the Bruins going on the Power Play. IF the Bruins get ONE goal, they are going to get FOUR. Thats my 2 cents.

What's the consensus about McAvoy?

I know very little about hockey, but repeatedly in this last period I've said "that looks like a fuck up" - and it was McAvoy almost every time. But again, I don't know hockey.
He’s been their best defenseman the entire season and throughout the playoffs.

If this score remains and the Blues Ian this game, it’s not a good look for the NHL that all you need is a couple of lucky bounces and then sit on the puck and you are world champions

Kuhlman's been one of the few bright spots getting the puck into the offensive zone with some speed. The Bs need a lot more of that.

the dumbest shift change in the history of shift changes completely changed this game. B's need to start taking chances and someone has to put the puck in the f'ing net. And that someone is Charlie Coyle. I like him to start the comeback.
Going to be a hell of a story.

Or you have two pretty evenly matched teams taking it all the way to game 7, and what separates them is a little luck. That’s sports man...

Just need a break to go our way then I think the damn can open. But right now they just seem defeated. They don't look like the same team that was outskating the Blues in Game 6. Getting to every loose puck. Creating open ice in neutral zone. They need to find another gear.

I think the dirty play is the problem.. the defensive tactics have been popular in any number of pro sports... Eventually it gets figured out. The other problem is not having refs willing to call interference, holding the stick, cross checking, elbows, trips etc etc. That's what needs to change if you want the better team to win.

Throw everything at them from the drop. They’re gonna rely on their d, need momentum. Don’t give up, don’t ever give up. Find a fucking way.

I get Binnington was terrible 5 hole most of the series but if STL is going to clog the middle need to start shooting high, let's see how brave they are blocking shots with their face.

Ok, TV off, following the game in this thread only. Good luck Gentlemen, looking forward tro everyone losing their collective shit when the Bruins score the next 3 goals. Patriots did it. Red Sox did it, now time for the Bruins to do it.

I think y'all should cut Haunted a bit of slack on the shit thing. Just saying.

And while I'm just saying...these Bs aren't the 2011 Bs, but they need to take a page from that book and make some of their own luck here

The NHL survived the New Jersey Devils winning 3 Cups in 9 years. This isn’t that bad at least.
That era was bad for the league though

They’ve tried to make it more of a skating league, which is far more entertaining

Not good.
I realized I wouldn't be sitting here, doing nothing, if it was a Sox game.
So I've showered and donned the Ralph Wiggum "I'm Special" t-shirt, and Homer pajama bottoms that got the Sox through the playoffs last year.
Fingers crossed, let the good times roll.

PSK got booted for flipping off the Blues. Fuuuuuuuck everything right now. Fuck this team. Destroy them. Win this game. Complaining about fans flipping them off is the weakest shit I’ve ever heard of

I read through some of these posts and really wonder why some of you even enjoy sports. Fucking sky is falling mentality. They've largely controlled play and they've got 20 minutes to get at least 2. Hardly insurmountable.

This might be the best overall game we've played this series. Infuriating. Get one early and see what happens....
