He has to go. Team is dumb. That's on the coach. Please for the love of God fire Monty
A tremendous regular season and a series win feels like enough looking back to September, but it’s hard not to be upset with the last week and a half. Turned into the worst version of themselves at the worst time, arguably had a game stolen by the refs, just a really disappointing end to a good year.Monty will maybe get fired, but really they got about where they should have.
The too many men on the ice penalties should be enough.I suspect that pulling out the Leafs series and the constraints on this year’s cap will save Montgomery, but if anyone’s paying attention upstairs, it’s time to start worrying.
He’s never elevated his game for the playoffs the way you might hope. Not that he turns to total shit or anything (though he has also done that when he’s been hurt) but he tends to look slower, more tentative, less sturdy, too easy to knock off the puck. The bruins offense was putird this playoffs
Did pastrnak do anything this series? You can pay someone that much that is going to be that little
I was really hoping for Boston vs. New York in the eastern finals in both the NBA and NHL. Oh well.Fuck. Go Celtics!
They had an all-time good team last year and still shit the bed at home I’m not sure what more they can do.If Donnie cannot figure out a way to get talent to win home playoffs games, then he should be gone too. This has gone on long enough.
No. They won’t. They might fire Monty but won’t learn a fucking thing. The real issue will be if they learn anything from this.
Nope. Fuck Florida. Fuck Bennett. Fuck Tkachuk and especially Fuck Maurice. Loser franchise.Show some class fans!
NoTwo straight early round playoff losses + crushing the record for playoff too-many-men penalties should = termination
This is where I’m at too.The too many men on the ice penalties should be enough.
One thing I will put on Donnie is that it might be time for a shift in draft strategy. They’ve gone with so many high-floor guys that they can take care of the bottom 6/last pair, but lack the chips that can change games. Maybe Poitras becomes one, but right now, it’s far more likely they’ll miscast him as a 1C when he’s really a 2 or 3.If Donnie cannot figure out a way to get talent to win home playoffs games, then he should be gone too. This has gone on long enough.
Absolutely. They'll get called for every little damn thing against the Rangers, book it.
Start by practicing at the Garden more for the postseason to prepare for the shitty ice instead of the pristine ice at Warrior. Start by ceasing with the ceaseless matchup nonsense and just roll your lines like you do on the road. Simplify your game at home like you do on the road. They had an all-time good team last year and still shit the bed at home I’m not sure what more they can do.
So was ESPN.I was really hoping for Boston vs. New York in the eastern finals in both the NBA and NHL. Oh well.
it went thru wotherspoon’s legs - it was a fluky ass screen goalEvery replay I see of the GWG is worse. Swayman fucked that up big time. I don't understand how he screwed up that badly.
Momentary lapse in judgment and late in getting to his first spot for the first time all series. Bad goal. Wish Witherspoon closed out a bit more but it’s probably 70/30 Sway if we’re doing blame pie.Every replay I see of the GWG is worse. Swayman fucked that up big time. I don't understand how he screwed up that badly.
It was screened. I know you don’t like Swayman. But he’s the reason they even got here.Every replay I see of the GWG is worse. Swayman fucked that up big time. I don't understand how he screwed up that badly.
Swayman was outstanding tonight AND that was a terrible goal to give up. Both are trueit went thru wotherspoon’s legs - it was a fluky ass screen goal
swayman is the only reason they were playing tonight
It happens. The root cause is he could only give up 1 a game or they’d lose because they were so inept offensively.Every replay I see of the GWG is worse. Swayman fucked that up big time. I don't understand how he screwed up that badly.
It was a perfectly lucky shotSwayman was outstanding tonight AND that was a terrible goal to give up. Both are true
like some said, at least it was in regulation and not the third OTSwayman was outstanding tonight AND that was a terrible goal to give up. Both are true
I do like Swayman. Not sure where you got that from. And he stood on his head in the playoffs. It was screened. I know you don’t like Swayman. But he’s the reason they even got here.
6 in a row in the playoffs at home against Florida. It’s inexplicable.0-3 at home huh? Well that sucked
