Last night the Garden was a house of horrors, as the C's coughed up a fourteen-point lead in the fourth quarter. Tonight, the Bruins restore good juju to Causeway Street with a win that forces this series back to Raleigh. Sway redeems himself, Lindholm comes to the rescue, and Pasta does Pasta things because none of us are ready to turn our attention to the flaming chemical spill on Yawkey Way.

Win.

I liked the energy Wagner was bringing, and at least he wasn't taking dumb penalties. It's not going to tip the scales anyway. They need the top 6 to produce if they're going to have a chance.

Keep your fucking sticks down and win.

I'm not a huge fan of either lineup decision. The forward one is probably fungible, Frederic for Wagner. I think Frederic looked very slow and not able to keep up with the pace. Wagner was meh. It's probably a wash, just rearrainging the deck chairs. This is what the lack of depth has forced them into, rearrainging deck chairs. They can't score goals when the first line is off the ice. This does nothing to move that needle.

I do not like sitting Grzelyck. He has not been good in this series, having been on the ice for 6 goals against which leads all defenseman. Despite this, in my opinion, the Bruins problem in this series is generating offense, not defending. Grzelyck is more likely to help create a goal. I would sit Forbort or Carlo (who has arguably been worse than Grzelyck) and try to up the ante with possession and transition. The problem is, when they get in these funks, Cassidy leans into defense. It's his MO from day 1, one I do not like.

Point taken, but I would argue that the Bruins create offense from their play in the defensive zone. In the flow of play their offense begins with quick outs from the D zone. (O zone starts are a different matter, and Grzelyck will be missed in those situations.)

Carolina’s forecheckers have been targeting Grzelyck, who struggles with the more physical nature of playoff games, and he’s been making turnovers. His line for the series is 0-0-0 with 3 shots.

I think Reilly and Clifton have a better chance in this series of creating offense in transition. Carlo has had a tough series but he’s a big strong body and can absorb the forecheck and move the puck up. Forbort has played his best hockey in this series. And they are the first PK pair.

My guess is the change in the forward lines is being made for familiarity — putting back together lines that have played together since January. I assume Cassidy will mix and match forwards tonight depending on how the game is going.

Far too many Canes fans flopping around lately. What’s old is new again - use these re-re-configured lines and win. Reilly earns his contract tonight. Someone plants DeAngelo/Domi/Svetchnikov. Make them worried about game 7.

Win.

TNT coverage leading off with 15 minutes talking about their new national hero and apparently all around great guy Tony DeAngelo.

I’m not ready for this season to be over.

I’m not ready to not see the Perfection Line play together anymore.

I’m not ready to not see McAvoy and Lindholm leading the D the way they are supposed to.

I’m not ready for Bergy to . . . . . I can’t say it.

WIN.

Incidental or not, why is a player taking out our Goalies’ legs not an interference penalty ?

Was coming here to ask the same thing, clearly accidental, but intent isn't a prerequisite for a penalty

I’m guessing they judged the hook on Brad came from him clamping a stick in his armpit and selling it but without DVR cannot confirm…
