McAvoy's bad icing led to the first goal (penalty non-call aside), and a bad decision to check instead of playing defense led to the second goal.

Just brutal. No confidence at all going into Saturday night. Coin toss, at best. And game 7 should be a referendum on Monty, and the FO.
I swear if Monty comes out in the postgame presser like after the loss in game 6 last year talking about how great of a hockey game it was and not pissed at his team's play he needs to go
Two straight seasons of this. I don’t see myself investing in another long regular season that means nothing.
They could be the most skilled team but when they get to the playoffs they get beat up. They could be the biggest team but they get to the playoffs and have the opponent skate circles around them. They get here and can’t string two passes together, can’t make good decisions, can’t get out of their own way, can’t do anything dynamic, and most of all can’t close out a fucking series. Whatever identity they might have just goes away and is replaced by a team that sits on its heels in back to back closeout games.

The team's roster limitations have been badly exposed the last 2 games. They are beaten to every single loose puck due to their lack of skating speed. And no finishers near the net.
For sure, it will be for Montgomery (nicknames are for winners). Sweeney will stay regardless.
