It's all the misses at the rim leading to transition. Celtics are 5/13 at the rim.

Yeah, our shooting is pretty rough. Indiana too seems to be good at the sneak-from-behind steal, and that's caught our guys off guard a few times. I'm starting to wonder if Indiana is just not a good matchup for us?

Pacers are a fantastic offensive team. C's needed to be locked in defensively from the opening tip, and they weren't.

The defense is not there at all. Agree with HRB---secondary break is killing Celts

Tatum, Brown and Holiday all throwing up clunkers at the same time is tough to overcome

Yeah I thought for sure that challenge was going to be successful. Glad it wasn't but ...

Seems like they’re waking up; we’ll see if they can get and keep the intensity up in the second half.

Shooting a three getting touched on the elbow of your shooting arm can completely alter the shot.
100% Any contact with the shooting arm is going to get called. I just wasn’t sure that there was contact from the angle they showed.

Well, we can all agree that Tatum and Brown, 2-13 from three, isn't going to cut it.

Defensive rebounding has been an issue in spite of the size advantage, likely a product of all the dribble penetration the Celtics are allowing.

C's mailing it in on defense against an elite offensive team. Bad combination.

He's a career 33% 3 point shooter, and shooting 31% so far this year. Sometimes they just hit the shots you give them.
These are wide open non-challenged looks though. His numbers would be much higher if he got these looks every game.

He's not a guy that takes a lot of contested 3's. He's Marcus Smart, give him 6 shots from 3 even with some space and he's gonna hit 2-3 of them, not 5. Plenty to pick at about today's effort, I'm not upset with how they're defending Siakam.

Ugh, this game is turning into a farce. They can't miss a three, we can't make one. Brown blows a bunny.

Put Pritchard and Hauser in to see if they can get rolling.

The PBP guy keeps saying couldn't "Cash out" for missing a shot. I prefer couldn't "Cash in"

Yes, that's what I'm reduced to in this game.

Any Pacers fan saying that Mathurin could've made a difference in the ECF (they do exist) is having fun. He's been the best player tonight, by a large margin.
