They were so strong in the third. Clamped down, simplified things, worked hard on the forecheck etc etc. Great work. Overcame about as bullshit a goal as you’ll ever see.

California. Duh.
Rask is the sole reason this series is tied. He's vastly outplayed Bobrovsky as he's faced many, many more high danger chances. Maybe he'll finally get credit in Boston. Just maybe.
And yet I heard the word "lucky" several times when referring to him. Bob's skill clearly made the Bruins put 3 shots off the iron last game.

Chara looked awful tonight. Especially on the PK. Great work on the Kuraly goal but his defense was awful. Always seems to be out there for like 75% of the kill because the puck doesn’t leave the zone.

Yep and the penalty kill with about 6 minutes left was stressful. It felt like Columbus had about a dozen good shots with the Bruins unable to clear. Rask was a beast.

The Bruins seem to be in better shape than most teams.

They are coming off the 7-game series compared to the sweep Columbus had, but they seemed to have more overall energy in the third period, as they seem to most nights in the postseason.

Dominant 3rd period. Only blemish was a dumb Debrusk penalty.

Columbus really got chippy and dirty in the 2nd and 3rd. Not surprised from a Tortorella team, but really sucks. Dubois, Jenner's knee, and the cross checks at the end. The B's bench was visibly upset once the game was in hand. Hope the refs have their shit together in Game 5.

Well one of their top goal scorers is hurt and the other two look off. They got outplayed for most of that game pretty badly.

I was just thinking that the reason why they added netting across the NHL was due to the Brittany Cecil incident in Columbus.

Also shoot high glove as much as possible. Bob's flexibility and quickness allows him to take away the bottom of the net post to post but we've already seen him give up a soft glove side goal to Gryz and he's fumbled a couple others glove side.
This is spot on; three goals glove side tonight...…………….keep putting pucks to the net.

This is the first playoff game I did not watch live; I followed along in the game thread instead.

You're all welcome.

I am in Wisconsin, we got the bar we were at to switch a TV over from basketball. We didn't mention we were Bs fans at all, yet a trivia team sussed us out and called themselves the Boston Teabaggers in response (real classy Racine).

I proceeded to celebrate every goal like Trump had died.

In closing, fuck these cheese eating goons and go Bs.

I have played disc golf 4 times in the past month. The B's have won the game immediately following/during each of my rounds. I think this playoff run is going to be helpful to hitting my goal of 52 rounds this year.

Edit: have a round scheduled Saturday morning.

Great game all around. B's were in command in the 3rd against a tough opponent on the road. Honestly cannot ask for anything more than that.

The entire team was sloppy as hell. Hell of a win though.

I'm just glad I don't need to go into a self imposed ban on going to games.

I mean, God got to them already. They live in Racine, Wisconsin. How else can they be punished?

Tuukka's refugee camp
I filled in for a men's league team the other night and we played a team that had a dump truck on the jersey with Tuukka in the middle. Took me basically the whole game to realize their team was called "Tuukka Dump", which I found amusing and is probably one of the reasons Tuukka played so well.
