They had 109 points. You’re acting like their true talent level is D3 JV. Brazeau being on the team isn’t the reason they haven’t shown up multiple times or that they have more too many men penalties than the rest of the playoffs or that their two top defensemen lead the playoffs in turnovers. Their fundamentals and mental game suck.
It amazes me that the Panthers had the second most penalties in the league this season, but somehow they're playing like saints this series.
They’re 21 & 22 years old and we’re point a game guys in the AHL. They have a shot at the next level.
Monty’s heavy, hard heroes have brought less than nothing, largely thanks to Forbort’s foibles directly contributing to multiple goals. JVR could be declared legally dead at this point.
Gosh I find Geekie infuriating. I know he’s just not that great, but he makes some really poor fundamental plays sometimes.
