Between here and everywhere.
All I want is the Bruins to go into Toronto and rip the heart out of the entire city and their shithead team.

Literally. I want Chara to punch into Hymans chest and rip his still beating heart out.

I hope Kadri enjoys watching another playoff series in a suit, cause there’s no way he’s getting back on the ice this season.

Glad to see they're out there, but isn't it the case that while unable to practice usually means 'out,' able to practice doesn't necessarily mean 'in'?

Well the only good thing about playing Kampfer tonight is maybe we’ll a couple too many men calls against Toronto when they’re all racing off the bench to get out there when he’s out there. Seriously though, no one else in the organization can play over this stiff tonight?

No. Clifton and Moore are obviously hurt to the point where the team feels like they can’t play. Vaakanainen just returned from injury last weekend for 1 game and then missed 2 games this weekend due to illness. Lauzon missed all 3 games for Providence this weekend with injury or illness. They called Zboril up just in case.

Kampfer will be heavily sheltered and play the bare minimum. It is what it is. They don’t have other options.

Kampfer is a train wreck in his own end. They can’t shelter him on the road. He’s going to see Mathews or Tavares as soon as he steps out there. I’d rather they took their chances on Zboril or just play 5 D. He’s the type of guy that kills your team in these games.

Zboril played all of 2 games in the NHL. Kampfer has 201 and has been with the team all year practicing and playing in 35 games. I mean, do you really want Matthews or Tavares against Zboril? I don’t. It sucks but injuries have forced them down to their 10th and 11th D, so they’re kinda screwed no matter what they choose to do. I’d probably go with Kampfer too, at least he’s played against these guys before. 5 D is not a realistic option.

They can shelter. He won’t see the ice for Dzone draws. McQuaid was barely playing 9 minutes on the road last year in the playoffs, they’ll pick there spots on when to “steal minutes” essentially.

He's going to play as little as possible, maybe 12 minutes maybe even less if circumstances allow it. He may also be deployed as soon as those guys finish their shifts. It will be fine.

If they Bruins can play as physical as they did in game 2, I'm not at all worried about their lower tier defensive pairing.

It's getting pretty close to game time. When will DOPS announce what the story is with Kadri?

As soon as I typed this....

Kadri hearing is done. Announcement of length of suspension expected before game time.

Probably in no rush. I would guess that the day after the game the Leafs were notified that it was going to be at least 1 game, so gameplanning was easy since he was not an option. I would bet they are planning on a bare-minimum of 2 games.

It’ll be hard to justify anything less than 5 games given this fuck’s repeated disregard for player safety. At a minimum he’s lost the privilege of competing in this series.

In the simulacrum
I came here expecting to read that Krug was out with his brain in a sling.

I am amazed he is in there. Debrusk, also.

Man these guys are tough (or hurting, or young, or all of the above).

Hey, look at that, the league actually got one right. Dangerous player who clearly didn't learn a damn thing from his suspension last year.

I think the league got it right. This is now the 2nd time in two seasons that he’s going to miss significant time in the playoffs over something stupid he did. He’s probably going to be playing somewhere else next year given Toronto’s cap issues.

Aren't suspensions normally a set # of games and if he doesn't reach that number the suspension carries over? Odd the suspension could be 3-5 games.

Raffi Torres had one like this when he was on SJ.

Backes got hooked pretty bad with no call.

Also looks like the Leafs are trying to play fake tough guy to goad the Bruins but they’re having none of it.
