I wanna donkey punch all the savants in the Port Cellar who were posting “Celts in 5.” Have they not watched this fucking team in the playoffs? No lead is safe, and any daylight between us and the opponent means the turnovers and lazy defense are coming right up.

I can see “Celts in 7,” but only if we stipulate that five of the games will be exhausting rock fights and our boys will hand Miami two wins because the Green can’t stand prosperity and can only pay sustained attention with their backs to the wall.

This is the Flannery O’Connor of NBA teams. They’d be magnificent if there were somebody there to shoot them every minute.

Jaylen this quarter
- Drives carelessly and loses ball resulting in him injurying himself and then losing the jump ball.
- Not getting rebound and losing the jump ball vs Bam
- Missing free throw
- Lazy turnover

Kind of a monkey paw situation to end up a pro athlete, but a bald one in the only sport without headwear.

C's let the Heat get comfortable offensively from the jump, and they're paying the price for that.

As is often the case with this Celtics core, giving away possessions, offensive rebounds, and open threes for the first 43 or so minutes makes the hill tougher to climb here in the last five...
