This is who this team is... they have enough talent they might still win the title anyway, but man this team just cannot buckle down and play well with any consistency, get up and they coast, then they can't find the switch again
Bingo. This year’s Cs is an exercise in seeing if million dollar talent can overcome a 5 cent head.

Miami won’t shoot like that all series but my god are the Celtics just a dumb basketball team. The unforced errors are unconscionable.

Got it to 5 with 4:50 left, then scored 1 point over the next 3 min.

Obviously this game was lost in the third quarter but still had a chance, just couldn't capitalize

Missing 7 free throws is tough, they all felt huge.

Jaylen had a bad game but I really think this game was a 95+%th shooting performance from the Heat. Not worried just yet.

To be fair, it seemed like the Celtics totally neglected Tatum at times. Maybe take your Porsche out besides the weekend? He finished 11-11 from the FT line and he'll get many more calls than JB gets on the "superstar" front.

Why didn’t I bet on this game? This was the most obvious outcome of all time.

I thought Gabe Vincent might have tore his ACL…he was rolling around in the floor as the Heat inbounded the ball. Nope, gets back up and calmly jogs away

This thread is an embarrassment. The Heat aren’t going to shoot 52% from 3 for the rest of the series.

Inside Lou Gorman's Head
As badly as they played in the second half, this game really came down the sequence late in the 4th of Brown missed 3, Horford missed 3/turnover, Tatum turnover.

They needed points.

And wasted those trips.

Costly.

Miami played a great game tonight. Butler was by far the best player on the court. But I'm not sure they have another one in them.

Let's hope.

Yeah, they neglected him so long he forgot how to dribble.

Stupid and sloppy play gives away another game for this team. It is so frustrating watching the same shit over and over with them.

I know you love this angle but I would imagine that everyone will be pretty vocal and negative
You watch enough NBA to know this sucks but nothing that happened was surprising.

When people lock in to predictions - which is insane because nobody can know the future - all they are doing is setting up a battle between their bruised egos (and again they shouldn't be - predictions are silly) and reality. Then we get angry posts because someone is wrong and that can't happen. I opted out of that twisted dynamic years ago.

You’re right but then he got the ball and had 3 straight embarrassing turnovers (I honestly thought it was going to be 4 but he got a foul call). The entire team was really bad in the 2nd half.
