Good move.

I actually like Rece Davis a little better, but I think the Fowler/Palmer pairing will work fine.

Musberger responded with class, paraphrasing "I'm 75 years old and was given a three-year offer.  Not too many people my age get offers like that, to do what I've been asked to do.  I don't like to play golf every day so this is great!"

(I knew Musberger was old, but I didn't realize he was THAT old.  Good for him!)

Palmer won't be working with Fowler--Palmer gets Musberger.

Fowler is one of the best, I'm glad he's staying with ESPN's college football coverage and that they're keeping Gameday intact. Well, at least for a few more years until Corso is done.

Musberger and Palmer together should be just fine for the SEC game, which I presume will be the no. 2 SEC matchup of the day after CBS has their pick. I've always thought Palmer was pretty replacement-level, but I guess they wanted an experienced younger guy from a conference school.

I like Fowler a lot in studio roll, but remember when he used to do Thursday night games found him a little vanilla.

with ESPN getting the US Open exclusively in 2015, I wonder if Fowler will still cover that too. Seems like a lot

what a life, travel the world covering tennis for 8 months, then 4 months of college football.

Well at least the SEC will be chock full of beautiful women for Musberger to make awkward comments about.
