Former Chargers Doctor, Current Media Hack, David Chao

The California state medical board has filed another accusation against former San Diego Chargers doctor David Chao, this time accusing him of gross negligence in his care of deceased NFL linebacker Junior Seau.

"Notwithstanding the existence of red flags involving patient (Seau) and his extended use of Ambien, Chao continued to prescribe the controlled substance without closely monitoring patient (Seau) for ongoing signs of depression and suicidal ideation," the accusations states. "For example, only three days after patient (Seau's) vehicular accident occurring under suspicious circumstances following an arrest and jailing for alleged domestic violence, (Chao) issued another prescription to patient (Seau) for Ambien."

Let's be sure we do not support this hack's attempt to be come a sports media injury expert---I know there's an informal ban on citing him on BBTL, and we should all try to live by that ban. I'd rather read Will Carroll's semi-informed musings than support Chao.

One bombastic douche interviewing another.....great sports radio in San Diego. As a vacation spot it's a Top 10 destination. As a sports town, it is at best a AAA market. They have a baseball team that is a perennial doormat, a football team that is forever a .500 product, a minor league hockey team and a mid major college basketball team. Their morning drive is anchored by a guy who has been run out of every town he's worked in and is the biggest turd on the radio in the country. Boston fans have no idea how lucky they have it.
