Joe should just get traded every 3 days to whomever is playing Houston.

Yikes...and with the White Sox already being a bit concerned about his mental health when he opted out, this might be one of the things they were concerned about, as they were just married in January this year.
I hope he's getting things in his life figured out and has people around him to check in on him and make sure he's doing okay

Brilliant.

JoKe going at Correa after ending him is not surprising. He said some words too.

The dude really is kind of a modern day Bill Lee in some ways. I don't type that lightly around these parts.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for it but according to numerous sources John McNamara passed on today. Funny, I thought he died or mentally checked out in the 9th inning of Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Of course, thoughts and prayers to his family but I cannot imagine SOSHers have many fond memories of him.

Our friend Danny-boy has the eulogy. Sucks if you die and he covers your death.

McNamara managed 19 seasons in the major leagues with the Oakland A’s, San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, California Angels, Red Sox, and Cleveland Indians. His career mark was 1,160-1,233-2 (.485).

It was the 10th. (Or the 8th, if you like, when he let Buckner “hit” against Jesse Orosco.)

Bitter? Not me, no sir.

I'm sorry he's having personal issues, but this is why TINSTAAPP.

He had personal issues in the minors too (50 games for PEDs, broken hand from a fight with a teammate). He's already had TJ, and now this. I hope his gets his stuff together, but he's always struck me as a shithead, and I was not unhappy he was traded away in the Sale deal. He's firmly on the bust path.

Pomeranz of the Padres with a 1 pitch save last night vs the Dodgers. Kirby Yates is having arm issues so Drew has been closing.
In 9 games, batters are 1-23 against him.

Sadly, if they had just hung onto him maybe he would have been more willing to sign an extension amid all this covid business. Alas, it is what it is. I’d wager the Sox will have got most of his best years.

I've said it before, and don't want to sound like a broken record. But I am seriously done with the Red Sox. I will never pay another dollar at Fenway Park.
Time to get some Dodger gear (even though I don't really like them), and find a free ticket or two and promote this view inside of the Park. This might be my plan for the future.
