That was quite the ending to regulation. Some bad defense all the way around but only MSU could capitalize.

MSST-LOU going to overtime after a last-possession game-tying 3 pointer was followed by a coast-to-coast drive with a missed layup (probably fouled) followed by a missed tip that rolled over the back.

If that were my team, I'd be having a total heart attack. On either side. I'm already pretty into it and I don't even really care who wins. MSST vs UConn would be cool after last year, but I think Louisville has shown more this second half.

Imagine if the semifinals were not on a Friday night (on ESPN) and had Kevin Harlan announcing? Oh wait, it's still women.

I’m pretty sure Kia Nurse took 4 steps on that game tying basket.

I’m kind of shocked that Notre Dame hasn’t fallen on their face here in OT after that collapse.

Damn, I think that shot might have counted if it had gone in too.
I think so too, and if it had, that would have been the most improbable buzzer beater in college history, maybe basketball history.

UCONN has lost 7 straight overtime games, including 4 to Notre Dame.

It was in her hand, wouldn’t have counted.

I went back and looked 3 times.
I'll go back on myself and say I agree with you after DVR'ing it a couple more times. The ESPN clock wasn't lined up with the game clock above the backboard. Was close though.

UConn looked awful in a rock fight late in regulation and in overtime. They were lucky to tie it both times. Same last year. ND was the better team in the last 10 minutes. Samuelson was less than a non factor with 4 fouls. I’m surprised they aren’t deeper.

There is something to being undefeated. Same with overtime. You need those experiences in the regular year to be prepared for them. 0-4 in OT in the final four is amazing. They are so good they don’t get that one vital bit of experience they can fall back on. ND looked so much more confident, even when they were blowing it.

Rims seem tight and unforgiving. There was another final four like that — the UConn Butler one.

They’ll be competitive if they box out and keep Michigan off the offensive glass. That’s what’s killing them so far, even more than the bad shot luck early.
Mich hasn’t pulled away like I thought they would. Loyola has played pretty bad on offense but are hanging in there.

Why on the TNT scorebar is UM called the Wolverines and Loyola just Loyola-Chi, and not "the Ramblers?

Is this night different than other nights?
TNT doesn't want you to be confused with Minnesota, or Montana, or Moscow

No idea if it will show in the second half, but Michigan is a much better team than that.

That was pitiful
