Monty can't blame it solely on the malaise -- he needs to tend to what he can control, like line changes. Not just the too many men -- the second goal was directly due to a bad change as well. Confusion really is reigning. There is, of course, a cure for that.
It really blows my mind his inability to adapt. Like it's not asking a lot in the middle of the third to tell them just play simple hockey, dump chase, pucks on net, bodies in front. Why has he not pulled that lever once?? It's really like he's stubbornly coaching to get fired
There is a bit of a Keefe-vs-Treliving dynamic to this (GM wants one style of play, coach wants another). The difference is Treliving inherited Keefe; Donny did this to himself.
Oddly enough, I believe the last team to do so was the Senators. Last season, February 27 2024, at Nashville.

You could start one. I already tried this year. Gonna wait till new years before I try again.
Technically, since they won the game before an OT loss, it should be the same thread starter.
But the way this season is going, I'm not sure rules should apply anymore.

I thought if the game thread starter had a loss it would shift to a new game thread starter? Do I have that incorrect?

Just not technically good enough. So many medium-difficulty (and some simple) passes not handled, game after game. The skill level of the team is just not at the top tier. It stunts so many moves.
A mod would have to. You can start a new one if you want or let this one play out.
Ok everyone, since the first period had no scoring and I screwed the pooch by not starting a new game thread (ignorance of the OT rule is no excuse!). I will start a new game thread for this Game now.
