All an act, being the clickbaity trolls so people will pay attention to them. They don't really believe it. Well Felger and Mazz at least. Murray is a bozo so I can see him legitimately wanting Bill fired. He openly roots for them to have horrendously bad losing seasons, not realizing the only reason he has his no talent job is due to the success of the local teams.idk why they want bill gone so bad with bill u pretty much always win 8-10 games without bill who knows
Me tooI'm a broken record on this, but I still can't believe that anyone listens to these cheesedicks. Boston deserves better.
Satellite radio music stations are sounding better and better these days. I'm out on F&M.I listen for about 30+ minutes to see what the hot takes will be. Generally after losses because that's when Felger can go full troll, and he's at his annoying best. But as they repeat-beat the hot take to death, I can only take so much.
If the Celts lose to Brooklyn on Friday- and the Pats lose on Sunday, I'm listening and laughing on Monday because he will be brutal.
Teddy J spends 100% of his time on air axe grinding against Bill. Fred even jokingly called it out yesterday. According to Ted the Pats have no offense, defense, coaching staff, no future, McDaniels is 100% leaving and Bill can't coach offense anymore, they won't spend for free agents and Bill doesn't work hard.Yikes, I made the mistake of listening to the show. Ted Johnson and Christian Arcand were on with Bedard. In a 3-4 minute span, Johnson implied that Bill doesn’t work as hard as he used to, and that there must be something wrong there because coaches keep leaving for other jobs.
I would love to hear his take on the roster, but instead it is speculation, bad faith points (Judge and Flores should’ve stayed?) and half-baked innuendo. Click!
Is he dead wrong? Everything he is saying has some degree of evidence to support it.Teddy J spends 100% of his time on air axe grinding against Bill. Fred even jokingly called it out yesterday. The won't pay anyone! Followed by them naming 4-5 players the Pats have paid recently. I'm watching because Arcand is one and not just inside joking i think he's great. I've also been listening to the In Case You Missed It segment on Podcast from the Adam Jones show as well.
He’s not dead wrong. It’s like watching Hannity or Tucker claim they’re not bias and reasoning with them. I like Ted and I think he could be really good but his undertone with everything Bill he can’t let go. It ruins his analysis. Is he dead wrong? Everything he is saying has some degree of evidence to support it.
What's the degree of evidence that Bill isn't working as hard now, that coaches are leaving because there's something wrong, or that the pats don't spend on players? Is he dead wrong? Everything he is saying has some degree of evidence to support it.
Actually, no, it doesn't. And his opinion doesn't count because, by his own admission, he can't be objective about Belichick because of.their history together. Johnson has admitted as much on the Sunday pregame shows on NBCBIs he dead wrong? Everything he is saying has some degree of evidence to support it.
As much as I hate to defend Felger, I was listening when he made this statement, and this was not what he said. He said that we shouldn't be deluded into thinking Bill ever built something in the 2000 season. The point he was trying to make was that 2000 was not this year where despite their bad record, they were making all these improvements and sowing seeds that would payoff in 2001. Things turned around in 2001 because Bill brought in a number of other players, and because Brady took over for Bledsoe.Post mortem
--Felger says don't be deluded into thinking Bill actually ever built something in the early 2000's. Felger says Bill got lucky with Brady and some ex-Jets he brought in. They caught lightning in a bottle after that.
Jacobi Myers, Damien Harris, JC Jackson all showed good things this year. Again, F&M will never admit it, but at least they do have a few players from this year to build on.They have nothing to build on moving forward.
The bolded is how I took it. Maybe he meant something else, but it sure sounded like he was saying that Bill didn't build anything and that he got lucky with Brady and the ex-Jets.As much as I hate to defend Felger, I was listening when he made this statement, and this was not what he said. That isn't to say he won't go on a tangent later and make some insane claim to the effect that Bill deserves no credit for anything, that it was all pure luck, etc... Because I am sure he will eventually go there. Not because he actually believes any of it. After all, Felger was directly there at the time covering those early 2000's Patriots teams. He was one of the "good guys" in fact, fighting against media dinosaurs like Ron Borges, Eddie Andleman, Kevin Mannix and so on who proclaimed Bill a horrible coach and an idiot for picking Brady over Bledsoe. Felger is purposely trolling as he often does, saying things he doesn't really believe to get people to pay attention to him. And unfortunately it will work. But at least for me, those few minutes I tuned in for were enough for me and I'll probably take the week off from the show, if not more. Refraining from tuning in the last few weeks to the show has given me a lot of peace in mind, funny how that happens, huh?
Of course the big thing that the show will never admit (since the "cap is crap") is that they were in a very tough position cap wise this year with Brady's departure, going "all in" in prior years, which is exactly what Felger & Mazz are always pushing the Pats to do, and COVID opt outs. And if those weren't issues, this team probably is that 9-7/10-6 team on the cusp of the playoffs that Felger said would have been acceptable rather than the "massive fail" that he proclaims this season to be.

All he was saying was that 2020 was not comparable to 2000 as far as what it meant for the future of the team. Which is classic Felger, arguing against a point that no one ever tried to make, in a way that is guaranteed to be misunderstood. The bolded is how I took it. Maybe he meant something else, but it sure sounded like he was saying that Bill didn't build anything and that he got lucky with Brady and the ex-Jets.
what some trollsPost mortem
--Pats got worse. Massive fail because they forced Brady's hand and didn't have a solution.
--Felger says don't be deluded into thinking Bill actually ever built something in the early 2000's. Felger says Bill got lucky with Brady and some ex-Jets he brought in. They caught lightning in a bottle after that.
--They were never really close to building anything this year.
--Mazz: Pats are really 5-9 because the 2 Jets games don't count. They have nothing to build on moving forward.
Loved one of the guys in the 5:00 hour who called out Felger. The original call screen was about CI had it one for awhile and Felger's connection was all but inaudible, constantly breaking up, and all I thought was "karma's a bitch" and "hold it like a pizza " for all the shit he gives caller's who have a less than perfectly clear line.
Listening to that show on a repeated basis while hoping for a different result is a fool's errand of the highest order. It's just a hopeless exercise. For reasons passing my understanding, I clicked on their nbc sports Boston simulcast a little while ago, for the first time in about 6 months. The Belichick /medal of freedom refusal being discussed. Mazz and Murray pretty reasonable, straight takes. Right thing to do, good for the locker room, good statement, etc. Felger: makes his life easier, path of least resistance, did it under pressure, still a Trump guy........... Click, see you again in 6 months. Or never.
To be fair, they were 8-8 last year with some of the worst QB play you'll see. Any top 10-15 QB that came in was going to improve that team given the talent on that offense. You can tell these guys have been looking forward to this day. They are absolutely killing the Patriots (and their fans) in the open. Should've done more to keep Brady and around and mocking Belichick for thinking they'd be fine without him.
The utmost praise for Brady and the winning attitude he brought to Tampa. Admit that he wasn't great yesterday, but he has changed the whole culture of the organization.
Can't argue with that logic. You can tell these guys have been looking forward to this day. They are absolutely killing the Patriots (and their fans) in the open. Should've done more to keep Brady and around and mocking Belichick for thinking they'd be fine without him.

Winner post. Kudos and spot on.Can't argue with that logic.
They should have done whatever it took to keep a 43 year old QB around and pay him whatever he wanted..........30 million?
Then they would have had to cut a number of players to get under the cap; what a joy it would have been to see him throwing to Meyers and Harry, yelling and screaming at them for running the wrong routes as they finished 9-7, 8-8, 7-9.
Oh but wait; according to Felger, the cap is crap.
Then these two fucking idiots would be killing the Patriots for keeping a 43 year old QB, Belichick has lost his fastball, blah, blah, blah.
I love how they move the goalposts to fit their position.
So predictable.
So pathetic.
100% they wanted brady gone lets see if brady can do this in 2021 remember what happened to farve in year 2 in minn manning lost it overnight so did brees so did faraveCan't argue with that logic.

Boy those are some choices.100% they wanted brady gone lets see if brady can do this in 2021 remember what happened to farve in year 2 in minn manning lost it overnight so did brees so did farave
they need to wake up it looks like watson will go to Miami jimmy g will likely stay in sf at least for 2021 stafford i wouild say denver is the leader there jamies will stay with no
can will go to wash
so ne has 3 choies
1 M Ryan if Atl get a QB at 4
2 A Dation saw him in dallas is spotty at best great number 2 bottom tier 1
3 brissett indy if rivles comes back
or Mac Jones Bama Kyle tsask QB fla
watson wants to go to Miami and tua has more upside than lock and a extra 1st and 2nd in 21 houston couild get tua 19 and both 2nds or 3 19 a 2nd and tuaBoy those are some choices.
Adding in the Jets will have a new coach and will draft a QB, Miami in your scenario gets Watson and Buffalo has Allen.
Wonderful.
He's getting 25 million/season in Tampa, which is peanuts for a top tier QB and the Pats already had a 12 million cap hit in dead money from him leaving before this year anyway. Money was never the real issue here, neither side wanted the partnership to continue. If the Pats wanted to keep Brady and he came back with "I'll do it for a 2 year/50 million contract" and they passed on it, yes, then they screwed up. Maybe the team wouldn't be much better for 2020, but certainly it would for 2021 and it's not like they'll go into next year with anything resembling an answer at QB anyway. I just don't think conversations even reached that point. Can't argue with that logic.

And, he's correct. as painful as it is for me to admit.Felger hasn’t really changed his prior take. He still thinks Brady wasn’t all in on his commitment to the Patriots in the end.
if Bedard disagrees with u he will let u know about it but at least he will talk with uFelger has done a modified 180 on Brady this year, from blaming Brady for being a prima dona-hi maintenance PiTA and at best an equal partner in the BB-TB12 joint-venture that led to 6 rings, to now giving TB12 more credit for the team's success and being more critical of BB's prima dona characteristics. I think the Rodgers-Packers recent loss crushed his soul a bit, and made him reassess his hot take.
The Felger-Bedard exchange, which I heard most of, was interesting as Bedard seemed wholly invested in a, "any good QB could have done what Brady did in the post-season this year", and easily discounting Brady's resume. Bedard's stance seemed based in some past slight rather than reality.
He has admitted he was wrong about Brady. It would be nice if Felger would admit he was wrong about Brady
