This is a good match up. Keep the train rolling. Obliterate OKC.

Important game post kyrie discussion, recent good play versus underwhelming teams, and standings

Quite the matchup: OKC is 33-14, and currently on a seven-game win streak, since losing to the C's in Ok City back in Oct.

Note 2PM Super Bowl Sunday afternoon start time, airing on ABC.

Oh, yeah: Throttle the Thunder!

How can Time Lord be out? Has he played at all? Some serious practice work I guess

I will say the timing of this game is fantastic. What a great way for people to kill time before the Super Bowl.

The Celtics match up pretty well with OKC, especially with Smart in the starting lineup. Would be even better if Baynes was healthy.

Generating great looks from 3, getting to the rim, playing connected and energetic on D. OKC's shooting will improve as the game goes on, but this is encouraging so far.

When Al is aggressive shooting the ball it opens up the floor so much. Kyrie + 4 shooters is a beautiful thing.

Paul George makes me feel better about Hayward. Just gotta be patient. He'll get there.
George got a few late season games to come back after his injury the summer prior. Per the article in the main forum Hayward thread, Hayward didn't start playing five on five until September due to his second procedure. He will continue to improve.

Yup, and I sort of like Al from mid-range: he's historically good from there, and it's a nice reset that seems to make him comfortable.

I said it in the game thread yesterday. Dennis Schroder is playing at another level the last month.

Why not use a timeout there with 1.6 left to advance the ball, and try to get a good look at the buzzer? Do the C's typically use all of their timeouts in a half? I can never remember how many timeouts teams get anyway.

Pace yourself dude. You have a lot of stressful sportswatching to come...

And Brad sometimes does use timeouts in non-4th quarters to call a play when there are 5-8 seconds left.
