deep inside Guido territory
October 7: "Playing for the Mob"--goes into the Boston College point shaving scandal.  Ray Liotta, who played orchestrator Henry Hill in "Goodfellas" will narrate.

October 14: "The Day The Series Stopped"--the 1989 Earthquake World Series

October 21: "When The Garden Was Eden"--narrated by actor Michael Rapaport, it chronicles the NY Knicks championship teams.

October 28: "Brian and The Boz"--Brian Bosworth story.

November 4: "Brothers in Exile"--story of Livan and Orlando Hernandez and how they came over from Cuba.

November 11: "Rand University"--Randy Moss story.

December 13: "The U Part 2"--sequel to the one they did on the University of Miami earlier.

Most of them sound very good.  The only one I'm not really that interested in is the Knicks one.

That Knicks team has had 10,000 books written about them and been blown by the NY media for being the GOAT, but I'm still interested in that movie. It's title (and I assume most of the film) is taken from a Harvey Araton book that was very good (and what a great f'n title). The El Duque one looks like it has a lot of potential.

I went to at least two of those suspect BC games.... one against Harvard at Boston Garden that was a complete joke of a ballgame.   Harvard was terrible in those days and somehow stayed within 10 or so points of BC the whole game....most certainly beating the spread.

Those last two sound fantastic. I loved the first one about the U and wasn't surprised about hearing it was popular enough to get a sequel.
